Ivan sat on his easy chair casually knitting. He had been knitting this scarf for over a year. He was never really happy with the design but this time he would get to the end. Sighing he looked over at the couch. Prussia would be awake soon. She seemed to have some internal clock that told her when her favorite soccer teams were playing. He looked at the clock he had a few minutes and he only had a few rows to go. Maybe he would be able to finish it before she woke up. Busy as he was in his work Ivan didn't see Julchen wake from her slumber like a cat slowly waking from a nap. She quietly stretched and turned on the TV. The sudden sound of screaming soccer fans startled Russia. "fuck!" he screamed. Prussia was startled and looked at over at him. He blushed and frantically continued knitting. Prussia looked at him in confusion for a second. Then looked at the large scarf lying on the ground. "Vanya sweetie what are you doing?" he didn't respond but proudly held up the finished scarf and stood up gesturing for her to stand. When she did he carefully wrapped the scarf, decorated with Prussian flags, soccer balls, Julbird, beer and the words 'I'm AWESOME', over her shoulders. "I've been knitting this forever." He whispered. She smiled at him "Russia is playing Germany today." he smiled back at her and they sat down on the couch snuggling together, scarves intertwined.
I wrote this as a one shot so there is a 83% chance I wont continue it BUT if I can get over a hundred views by Saturday we might learn more about the two. Maybe I might actually make a whole story. I hope you like it! Toodles!
