Young Eevee had many brothers and sisters, and he loved them all dearly. It was just so tiring.
Ever since the trainers began to discover those weird rocks with different colors, they just weren't themselves anymore. They also changed during a certain time of day, and this just puzzled the little brother, Eevee.
His brothers and sisters kept pushing him to change. They thought change was good. I mean look at his siblings!
There was Jolteon, the wildly bright and energetic brother, and the oldest.
Vaporeon, a blue and very cool sister who could always make him smile.
Flareon was his favorite brother, a fiery temper, but he always made jokes and goof off with Eevee.
And who could forget the fraternal twins, Umbreon and Espeon? The two of them were yin and yang, competing for right and wrong.
Then came Leafeon, a very sincere and calm sister.
And of course there is Glaceon, the mad little sister to complete the bunch!
Well, Eevee was happy with all of its brothers and sisters. He just wished that they would stop wanting him to change.
A while back, a trainer came to him, asking the little Eevee if he wanted to go on a journey with him. Eevee jumped at the chance, and eagerly went with the trainer.
Eevee's fear resurfaced, wondering if the trainer would make him change.
One day, he saw all of his brother's and sisters on his journey, and the trainer saw the look in Eevee's eyes.
The trainer bent down on one knee, pulled out something wrapped in cloth, and told Eevee to trust him.
"Eevee, I see that look in your eyes."
Eevee knew what was about to happen.
"I understand that change can be a scary thing. Look at all of your brothers and sisters! They look beautiful! But you Eevee-" he stopped and unwrapped the object in his hands. It was a smooth Everstone! "-Are the most beautiful of them all."
Today, I am still traveling with that trainer, and everywhere we go, a single pouch is bouncing around on my proud brown chest, and it contains a promise. It says, that no matter what, I love you for you, and nothing will ever be able to change that.
