Everybody knew that our school was haunted. So I wasn't surprised when the door creaked open by itself and when the piano playing came ominously from the auditorium. The old lady ghost played the piano there with her ghost cat that lounged on top of the piano or played with dust balls behind the dark red curtains.
A young boy ghost played there too. No one caught their names though. People tried to ask them but when they came close they vanished into thin air. People were lucky to see them. I was lucky to see the ghost cat once, hiding behind the bloody red curtain before I practiced my lines for the play.
My name is Eloise Countiller. My school is ancient, but is repainted often and looks quite modern. I was lucky to meet one of those ghosts. I may be the only one who met a ghost in my school. Her name was Emily.
"Eloise! Go on and try your costume on in the bathroom and tell me if it fits"
Picking up the green costume, this looks like fake leaves sewn crudely together. I walked out of the class room, which was being used for meetings and walked towards the girls' bathroom. I opened the door and walked in, changing into the costume. I heard a sighing sound, ignoring it thinking it as the wind or just another lost voice. I looked at myself in the mirror. It fitted quite well, my brown hair lankly fell in front of my green eyes that matched the costume. Picking up the loose strands of hair I put them behind my ear, and turned around to find my other clothes. When I turned, I saw a girl about 13, my age. She was sitting down on the curve that came out of the wall. She was dressed in an old Victorian dress, with frills; her hair would have been blonde and slightly curly if it wasn't more transparent. She was a ghost.
