Prologue.
Los Angeles.-
Night had already fallen in Los Angeles. Everything seemed dark except for a few building and the light of the cars in the streets. Of course, no one who lived there could say that it was a quiet night. A lot of gunshots could be heard and the sound of a big group of cars at full speed didn't help either. A man running at full speed through the streets. he had a prominent beard, messy black hair and dark brown eyes.
"I need to get out of here" said the man with a raspy voice.
"you can't run forever, beast" said a woman who was pointing a gun at the man.
"you have no idea" said the man with a smile before his eyes glow violet and in a blur, he knocks out the woman without effort.
"I'm sorry" said the man before running again.
Meanwhile in another place of Los Angeles.-
"where the hell is he? Are you sure the information was correct?" said a beautiful woman who was sitting in the front of a car, besides the driver.
"I'm sure, believe me, a lot of people want him alive" said an old man in the back seat that was using a tablet.
"a lot of people also want him dead" said the driver with a calm voice.
The woman seemed to get angry by the comment. One of the men in the back seat notice this and decided to talk.
"don't worry, he'll be fine" said another man in the back seat with a serious expression.
Suddenly the car stopped, a big group of black cars appear from the corner of the street and kept going straight, almost hitting the car of the group. They looked in awe how what seemed like more than 10 cars advanced at full speed.
"what were you saying?" said the woman while glaring at the man on the back.
"at least now we know that he is indeed in this city" said the driver releasing a deep breath that he was holding.
"just drive and find him" said the woman with irritation and a little growl.
"yes, ma'am" said the driver a little scared while the men in the back seat only rolled their eyes.
Meanwhile in other place.-
The man continues running through the city at high speed. A group of cars following him from far behind. After a few minutes, he finds himself facing a few black cars parked in the middle of the street and a lot of people with weapons aiming at his head.
"you are really hard to find. You are really problematic for us, beast" said a blond man who was in front of the armed group.
"I prefer Scott if you don't mind" Scott seemed very confident with a wide smile on his face.
"shut up! You have no idea how long I've been waiting for this" said the man with a smile full of satisfaction.
"well, sorry to disappoint you but you won't kill me tonight" Scott's eyes started to glow violet, his fangs grew as well as his claws.
"so is true. The legendary True Alpha has become a Delta" said one of the men still pointing at Scott. Scott steps forward making the men watching him give a step back in fear.
"don't move, you beast. we're not afraid of you. We have finally caught you. But if you insist on stepping forward then we will kill you." said a black man who was beside the blond one.
Suddenly, the noise of a group of cars could be heard. Scott turn back just to see the same group of cars that was after him a few minutes ago.
"reinforcements" said one of the armed men with relief.
"now it would be a good chance to surrender. You have nowhere to run or hide" said the blond man with a satisfying smile.
"fuuu… I didn't want to. but I suppose I will have to fight" Scott seemed tired since he actually didn't want to fight.
The cars were all stopping just behind Scott. When suddenly, an armored car at full speed collide with the other cars and went straight to Scott's left side.
"McCall, get in the car now" when the window of the car opened, Scott could see the coach Finstock driving the car and Cora Hale as the shotgun. Scott just smiled at both of them and quickly get in the car.
"don't let him escape" yelled one of the men before everyone started to shoot and getting in their cars.
"you're lucky we find you, son" said Chris Argent with a smile while preparing his own weapon.
The sound of cars and shoots could be easily heard.
"how did you find me?" asked Scott with curiosity but without dropping his smile.
"wasn't so hard actually. You always get in trouble and these people always make a huge deal of it" said this time Derek Hale with a serious face while preparing himself to shoot to their chasers.
A bullet suddenly was able to penetrate the blinded window of the back side of the car. Chris and Derek use a space in the car to start shooting to their chasers. Scott by their side only smiled to see some of his friends.
"why were you here? We looked at you for half united states before we find you" said Cora with a little of irritation in her voice.
"sorry, but I was informed of a group of young wolves that were being chased. So I had to find them and help them escape" said Scott a little embarrassed for coming without telling anyone.
"you should have told me, I would have come with you" said Cora looking at Scott with a sad face.
"I'm sorry" Scott said in a whisper without looking away of her eyes.
"I'm happy that you are catching up. But this is not the moment. Chris, for god sake shoot those idiots already" said coach losing his patient, Scott and Cora only smile a little at the coach attitude.
Suddenly their car started to move violently. 3 cars were able to get close to the group, and they started to collide with the armored car.
"those idiots really think that they will do something to my baby" said the coach with a mock smile on his face.
A shoot was heard and a bullet was able once again to penetrate the car armor.
"shit, these bullets have wolfsbane" said Cora inspecting the bullet that was inside their car.
"can't you go faster?" yelled Chris while shooting outside.
"you bet I can" said the coach before driving at full speed.
"they are still chasing us" said Derek with an angry face.
"don't worry, they can't beat this baby" said the coach with a smile while patting the front of the car.
Just a moments after he talked. The vehicle shakes a little and a roar could be heard coming above the car.
"I'm going out" said Scott before going out of the car by the window.
"Wait! Scott! You idiot!" yell Cora before preparing herself to go out.
"you're not going out" said Derek in an angry tone still shooting at the cars behind them.
"if I don't go, then Scott will be outside fighting alone while those bastards will be shooting bullets made with wolfsbane at him" said Cora about to get out before Derek grabbed her arm and pull her inside the car again.
"DEREK!" yell roar the woman with her eyes glowing yellow.
"You stay right here and shoot to anyone who aims to Scott or me. I'm going out" said Derek while giving his weapon to Cora and jumping outside the car.
In the roof of the armored car.-
Scott was facing a werelion, a werejaguar and a werecoyote. a man and two women. then Derek appears next to him.
"the famous True Alpha who becomes a Delta, and the legendary Derek Hale, it will be my pleasure to kill you" said the male werelion with a satisfactory smile.
"no, Derek his mine. You can't kill him, because he will be my pet, hahahaha" said the female werecoyote with a twisted smile.
"did you slept with her?" asked Scott while giving Derek an accusatory look.
"shut up!" said Derek a little angry and exasperated.
"yes, yes he did". Said the werecoyote still smiling.
"seriously. Sleeping with the enemy... again" said Scott while easily evading a bullet.
"don't you dare to talk. You slept with my sister" said Derek with fierce red Alpha eyes.
Before Derek and Scott could start their argument, the female werejaguar attacked Scott. The werecoyote decided to attack Derek instead. While the werelion only looked amused by the situation.
The werejaguar was throwing punch after punch without landing one single blow. Scott only evaded for a few seconds, until the opportunity shows and he catches one of the punches. Scott gives a single but powerful blow that sends the werejaguar direct to the werelion.
Derek on his side was evading the werecoyote claws, while at the same time landing every single attack with his own claws. When he was about to land a decisive attack, the coyote evaded the attack, then kick Derek in the chest, and finally jump over him attacking fiercely his body. Derek was trying to receive the less damage as possible.
While Derek was in trouble, Scott was fighting both, the werejaguar and the werelion.
"you are stronger than I thought" said Scott after receiving 2 direct blows in his face from the werelion. When Scott was about to attack again, the werejaguar tackle Scott throwing him out of the car roof. But when he was about to land on the road, Scott used his claws to get a grip on the car and force himself over the car.
"tch, stubborn bastard" said the werejaguar attacking Scott again. This time Scott's eyes glow violet even brighter than before. He was able to block every intent of the jaguar to attack him, and then with a quick move of his hand, he scratches the woman in her chest making her fall to the road.
"I'm going to kill you!" said the werelion launching against Scott.
"what a shame, I was hoping to have more fun with you" said the werecoyote, aiming her next attack to Derek's neck, then he blocked her attack, and ripped her throat out with his teeth. She stumbles a little and then falls off the car.
"that must be the first time I actually do it" said Derek with a little smirk while standing up.
Scott was still fighting the werelion and Derek was prepared to help him when a bullet passed by the side of his arm.
"shit" said Derek grabbing his arm.
Another shot could be heard, and this time the bullet was able to hit Scott in his right shoulder.
"hahaha, you are going to die little puppy" said the lion before trying to attack Scott again. Scott easily blocks the punch and then give a punch to the lion in the stomach, making him yell and fall to his knees.
"only my friends can call me puppy" said Scott with a dangerous and wild voice. The werelion now looked human. His eyes went straight to see Scott looking like if nothing happened. Then a few more bullets hit Scott chest but he didn't even flinch.
"ho...how is that… even p… pos… possible?" asked the man with fear.
"I started to drink or breath a little of wolfsbane every single day for a few years now. It still can kill me, but now I can handle the pain and the poison. now I can resist the wolfsbane" said Scott before roaring. The sound of the roar was so powerful that not only made the car shake but some of the cars that were chasing them collide with each other product of the powerful roar. At the same time that the earth was moving because of Scott roar, the bullets inside of him were pulled out of his body and he started to heal. The werelion fell out of the car because of fear.
"that must have been the strongest roar that you have ever done" said Derek with an impressed face.
"thanks" Scott only smiled while the violet glow on his eyes fades away.
"let's get inside, we must continue" said Derek with a serious expression while looking how there were still some few cars that were chasing them. Scott only nods and enter the car followed by Derek.
They continue to drive for a few moments until they lost their chasers.
"where are we going now? will we go to another city or maybe hide for a while?" asked Scott after a few minutes of silence.
"none. We will go to meet with Lydia and Alexis" said Derek.
"Alexis? Like in the druid Alexis?" ask Scott only receiving a nod from the men of the back.
"what is she doing here?" asked Scott with concern.
"she's here to help us" said Chris with a serious voice. Scott only looked at him like waiting for a complete answer.
"while you were out, we find something that might help. Kind of, it's not exactly something very common, and we are not even sure if it will work or not but is a chance" said Cora with a little of uncertainty in her voice.
"I would say more like, a crazy and impossible things, but to be fair, I've seen plenty of impossible in the last few years" said the coach with a thin smile.
Understanding that what they might have found wasn't exactly something very orthodox or even known, Scott decided to wait until they reach their destination before continue asking questions.
A few minutes later in a subterranean base.-
"we are here" said the coach while parking the car inside of a subterranean base.
"quick, let's go" said Cora getting out of the car. Everyone followed her.
"Oh, my god! Scott!" Scott could hear Lydia's voice, then he turns around and was received by a crying strawberry blonde girl who embraces him really tight like if she didn't he would disappear.
"Lydia? Oh my god, I'm so happy that you are okay" said Scott with wet eyes, while hugging his friend.
The people around just watch them hug for a few minutes with thin and sad smiles.
"I'm sorry" said Scott barely above a whisper.
"what for?" asked her already knowing the answer.
"I couldn't protect him… I couldn't save him" said Scott while stepping back of the hug and looking at Lydia with tears falling from his eyes.
"it wasn't your fault, you did what you could. they were too many and he didn't want to step back" said Lydia with a broken voice still crying.
"I'm sorry" said Scott again. This time he hugs Lydia tighter than before while rubbing her back and let her broke down in his arms.
"ugh, I didn't come for this" said Peter Hale while walking to the group. Cora and Derek give him a death glare.
"shut the f*** up" said Cora with wet eyes and a dangerous growl.
"I'm sorry to interrupt your moment, but we need to start" said an African American woman who was behind Peter.
Scott and Lydia separate from each other and tried to recover as quick as possible.
"Hello, Alexis. Good to know that you are fine" said Scott with a smile making the girl blush. Much to Cora's annoyance.
"it's my pleasure to be helpful to you. I really admire you and everything that you have done and tried to do" said with a nervous smile walking directly to Scott before taking his hand.
"Obviously I haven't done enough" said Scott with a sad smile and looked at the floor.
"enough. you said that we should start, so let's start" said Cora a little angry while walking beside Lydia and putting a reassuring hand on her arm.
Everyone in the room nods their heads. They all walked into a room and sit down at a big table to talk. The order from right to left was, Scott, Cora, Lydia, Derek, Peter, Chris, coach Finstock and for Cora's annoyance, Alexis sat on the right side of Scott.
"right, so, why don't you tell me what you found" asked Scott feeling the tension besides him.
"fine. For starters, you need to know that we were looking for ways to kill it" said Chris argent with a serious voice.
Scott tense up, knowing exactly who and what "it" was.
"what did you discover?" asked Scott with hope in his voice. The rest only looked at each other for a moment before talking again.
"nothing. Or at least not what we were looking for" said Derek with an angry tone.
"what we did found was a kind of ancient spell" said Lydia with confidence.
"a spell?" asked Scott looking at his friend, finally landing his eyes on Cora.
"yes. It was the only thing that we found that might help, but we didn't new if it was something real or not" said Cora in a low voice but with a serious tone.
"that's why I'm here. After they found the spell, they looked for me and asked me if the spell was real. I told them the truth, that I didn't know if it would work but it seemed like the spell was real" said Alexis with concern and uncertainty.
"what kind of spell we are talking about?" asked Scott understanding that must be something serious.
"time traveling" said the argent man looking his son straight in his eyes. Scott looked how serious his stepfather was and couldn't hide is an expression of shock.
"hahaha, that's exactly my reaction, except for the part where I started to curse" said the coach with a wide smile, somehow relaxing the people in the room a little.
"wait...wait, time travel is real?".
"not exactly. The spell is not exactly time travel, it's more like sending your conscience to the past, or at least a part of you"explains Alexis.
Scott looked at Alexis, and then the people around him. He then grabbed Cora's hand and gently squeeze it before looking at his friend again.
"what do you need me to do?" said in a serious voice.
"follow us" said Peter standing up and walking to another room. Everyone followed him.
"Okay, this is the plan. We will try to send you, or your conscience, to the past to change a few things and make sure that we are strong enough to deal with this future. If you succeed, all this hell might have never happened" said Chris argent with a serious face, entering to a room with dim light, a desk with a few ingredients, an old book, and a big bathtub full of water and ice cubes.
"I understand. there's someone else coming with me or I'm coming alone?" asked Scott with a serious and raspy voice.
"Sadly, the spell only will work with one person, and only you will be able to handle the pressure that this spell will put on your mind and body" said Derek this time with a little of irritation given the fact that he's not able to help in this.
"apart from you, Derek might, making emphasis in might, be able to handle the pressure of the spell. But we are not a 100% sure of that. Plus, we can't send too many people or the changes could affect the balance of the flow of time and nature itself" said Alexis.
"I understand. I'm ready" said Scott starting to get undress, and preparing himself to get in the tub.
Cora walked to be close to Scott and besides the tub. Derek, Peter and the coach standing a little away from the rest. While Chris, Lydia, and Alexis started to prepare everything to perform the spell.
After a few minutes, Alexis and Lydia pour something on the tub and command Scott to get in. Chris took a knife and him together with Derek and Alexis cut their hands a little to let some drops of blood to fall into the water. Cora took Scott right hand in hers.
"I have to warn you about certain detail before you do this. First of all, this is not a time travel itself. it would be more precise to say that your knowledge, your memories, your conscience, your mind will be sent back to the past. Do you know what this means?" asked Alexis with a worried tone.
"no. I don't know, but I suppose that it means that I will still be here" said Scott with uncertainty.
"yes and no. this means that you will stay here, but you will send a part of you to the past. Like I said, your mind will be sent to the past, but your physical form and abilities won't travel with you" explain the druid girl.
"what does that mean?".
"it means that you won't be a werewolf anymore. At least not completely. Which lead me to the second detail. You see, mentally you will still be a werewolf, your senses and the wolf part in you will still exist, but it won't be able to manifest physically. The reason is that the bite is physical, it affects you both, mentally and physically, but without a body that was bitten directly, only your mind will keep the wolf inside you. Saying this, you also need to know that if you are bitten, then you won't become a "Beta", but you will automatically become a True Alpha" Scott eyes wide open to this new information.
"what? How is that even possible? I mean, I lost my Alpha powers, you know that now I'm a Delta. I can understand, kind of, why I won't be a werewolf, but me being a True Alpha again is kind of unexpected".
"well. To explain it to you in simple words. You always had the potential to become a True Alpha, but you needed some kind of push or motivation that would force you to release your potential. Now, like you just said, you are a Delta now. Still, your True Alpha potential is hidden in you. Certain abilities or skill are affected by the mind, and certain abilities or skills are affected by the body. Both body and mind affect a person directly, and when both are in sync, then your true potential or true power can be released".
"I don't get it".
"basically, since your mind will be the same as now, you'll keep your memories and knowledge, your personality, and your will force. Inside of you, there's still the spark of a True Alpha, but sadly this is being suppressed by your status as a Delta, and your guilt keeps you from releasing your Alpha powers again. Now, your body will be new. This means that the potential of a True Alpha in your body will still be there, and since you will be younger, your body will have a better growth potential. A new body that can adapt and grow faster and better, and a mind full of knowledge and experience that will push you to your limits. Once both your mind and body start to work in sync as one, you will be faster, stronger, smarter, even as a human being. once you are bitten, your hidden potential will be released, your body will start to change and adapt again, this means that there the possibility that you will once again rise as a True Alpha. I'm almost a 100% sure actually. To be honest, we need a True Alpha, so you need to become one even if the probabilities were near to 0".
"I understand. I'll do my best to become a True Alpha again" answer Scott with confidence winning a smile of his mate.
"now the third and last detail that you should know. You will no longer be just a person. You will no longer be just a kid. You will become an event. A change in history. A change in the flow of time. You will be an anomaly of nature. Just the fact that you exist will bring changes to history and the flow of time" said Alexis with a little of fear.
"what does that mean?" asked the werewolf in confusion.
"let me explain this part. In the flow of time, there are certain events that are relevant to the whole world. Usually the decisions we make only affect us or the people around us. But an event can affect the whole world and can change history. The best examples of this events are the invention of writing, the fall of Rome and the creation of the atomic bomb" said this time Lydia while getting closer to her friend.
"she's right. And believe it or not, beacon hills had a lot of events happening there. The Hale house fire, the Nemeton recovering its power and you becoming a werewolf. All those events were a chain of events that lead us to big changes all around the world, and sadly, some of the following events lead us here" said Alexis with a sad smile on her face.
"so, are you saying that Scott will be like one of those events?" this time Cora asked with a little of concern.
"yeah. Even if he doesn't want to, he will inevitably change certain things in history and the flow of time" answered Alexis.
"but that's not a problem. that's the point of him, or his mind, being sent to the past" said Cora.
"yes, but we need him to do specific changes. that's why him becoming an event is a problem. We need to affect the history as minimal as possible. For example: what would happen if he stops me from dating Jackson. I'm not saying that I wouldn't want to be stopped from doing it. But if he does, then maybe I won't be able to bring him back from being a Kanima, and to be honest we need Jackson on our side" said Lydia trying to explain to her friend.
"she's right. We need Scott to make sure that certain things happen, and that other things don't. And one of the main things that we need is to keep his pack together. After that, we will need allies, even ones that we might not be expecting. And of course, power. Scott needs to become someone people can trust and admire, he and his whole pack. Plus, if Scott changes history too much, whether it happens by his decision or not, then nature will try to eliminate him" said this time the hunter.
"what do you mean?" the one asking was coach Finstock.
"nature follows certain rules and patterns. It always has. So every time that someone tries to change or affect this rules or patterns, we said that the balance is being affected. Of course, we druids keep the balance in the world, especially in the supernatural world, but if we fail, the world will try to fix itself. This means natural disasters, this means animals and other creatures receiving the call of nature to defend this planet, and this also means that the creatures that exist for this only purpose, will rise again. We are talking about ancient creatures with a huge amount of power. These creatures have been sleeping for thousands of years, but when they are needed, they will rise and destroy any kind of danger to the balance" said Alexis with serious eyes.
"which means that if I do too much, then they'll come after me" Scott conclude.
"Sadly, that also means that when you go back, you must not save the Hale family, or at least not all of them" said the druid surprising Cora, Derek and even Peter.
"what? that wasn't part of the plan. you said we would be able to save lives, the lives of my family" said Derek with glowing red eyes while walking to face Alexis.
"yes, but I never said that all of them could be saved. I already told you, the Hale house fire is an event, which means that if you stop it from happening, then that would make a huge change in history and the balance will be affected. You can't save more than 3 or 4 people, including your mother and your sister Laura, which means that apart from Talia only two other people will be surviving the house fire" replied Alexis with a bit of anger.
"so my sister will be alive, that's good to know" said Peter with a little of irritation receiving a death glare from both, his nephew and niece.
"shut up!" Cora and Derek said at the same time.
"enough! we don't have time for this. there's something more than I need to know?" yell roar Scott before asking again to Alexis.
"yes, you must save Talia and only 2 other members of the Hale family, you need to connect with them, but not getting too close to them until you start to get your pack together. Oh, I almost forget, but you can't turn into a werewolf until the right time comes. Like I said you will become an event, plus your transformation was an event on its own, so we need to keep that clear" said the druid with a worried look.
"I have a question. How will I turn Scott into a werewolf if my sister and some other members of the family will be alive? I mean, even if I survive the fire and seek revenge, my sister wouldn't allow me to just go for it. and with her and other family members alive, I doubt I will be able to become an Alpha" asked Peter raising his right hand.
"I can't believe I'm going to say this but Peter is right. We need him being an Alpha to bite Scott and turned him into a werewolf" said Lydia earning a glare from Derek.
"but we don't need him to take his Alpha powers from his niece. Actually, we don't even need him to be the one who turns Scott. What we need is Scott turning into a werewolf by an Alpha from the Hale family. Which is why it's imperative that Scott wins the Hale family's favor" answer Alexis to make things clear for the rest.
"good to know that I'm so important" said Peter with irritation. Everyone decided to ignore his comment.
"it won't be easy. Even if he's able to save a few members of the family from the fire. My mom would prefer to turn him into a werewolf from the moment they have some contact. she won't trust him if he is not one of our kind. She will make sure that he won't betray us, probably making him a member of our pack by force if necessary, or as a last resort, she will kill him" said Derek with an uneasy feeling while looking at his friend.
"Sadly I can't help with that. Scott will need to stay a human until the right day comes. But he will need to be kind of close to the hale family" answer Alexis.
"Maybe if he acts like he doesn't know anything about the supernatural. Like he just was exploring the forest before he saw the house burning and he ran to help. I mean, my mom could have been overprotective of the pack, but if Scott acts just like a normal kid who was just in the wrong time and place, she might have some consideration for him and not turn him or kill him" said Cora with hope in her voice.
"do you really think that that would work?" asked Derek with a soft voice.
"it's the only I can think" replied Cora while looking at her brother.
"it's not such a bad idea. Actually is pretty good. Scott could act like he doesn't know about the supernatural world and was just drag to this world. That way maybe Talia will feel not only grateful to him for saving her and some of our family members, but also she will feel responsible if something happens to him. And while he acts like he doesn't know, he could also prepare and give some hints or subtle advice's to help the Hale family. it's perfect, except for the fact that he would need to be faking ignorance for years. And the fact that at the same time he would need to prepare himself for the future" said Peter after considering his sister personality.
"Scott? Do you think you could do it?" asked Chris to his stepson.
"yes, I can and I will. I promise you, I will do it. And to both of you, I promise that I'll keep you safe and will save your mother. doesn't matter how long I have to fake being someone I'm not" answer to his father and then he talked to both Hale's he loved.
"it's good that you think like that. Especially if we consider that technically you will still be here, but a part of you will be the one changing everything" said Alexis.
"it's enough. I already listen to all you were talking, but now I have a question. how is this suppose to work?" asked coach after being silent for a while.
"what do you mean?" asked Lydia with a raised eyebrow.
"he means, what will happen to our Scott? what will happen to us?" says Peter.
"well. Fuuu… to keep it simple, despite the fact that none of this is simple, Scott will be in two places. Kind of. A part of Scott will be sent to the past, but Scott, our Scott, will still be here. Once a part of Scott is able to get to the past, a new timeline will be created. The new timeline will differ from this one and will start to follow a new set of events until it gets to this exact moment. Our Scott will start to receive the new memories that the other part of him is living. And little by little both of our timelines will start to collide one another until one of them suppresses the other completely. Since Scott will live in both timelines, he will keep his memories, but the rest of us will forget everything. Unless that the changes in the past weren't strong enough to change and suppress this timeline. If we fail, then we will just be here, like nothing happened. If we succeed, then this timeline will never exist and we'll forget everything, except for Scott who will remember everything that happened in this timeline, plus the new timeline".
"so, we won't exist" said coach as a matter of fact.
"basically, yes. In our place will be people who look like us, and lived like us, but who is different from us, at least in certain things" replied Alexis.
"it's right. I just wanted to be sure. Now McCall, be sure to join the lacrosse team again" said the coach with a smile, making Scott smile as well.
"Scott, please… save Allison" said Chris with wet eyes and a pleading voice. Scott became serious and nod his head.
"just be sure I get my revenge with Kate Argent, and that I get to meet Malia" said Peter with a bored tone at the beginning that changes to an almost emotional one when he said the name of his daughter.
"didn't kate become a werejaguar because of you?" asked Cora.
"whatever" was the only answer of Peter.
"Scott. It doesn't matter if it's only two or three, just please save my mom and some other family. Also, make sure of keeping your pack together, you will need them" said Derek with a serious voice, that change to a thin smile for his friend.
"I'll do" said Scott with a little smile.
"just be safe" said Lydia. For Scott, it was obvious that she wanted to say more, but she didn't. Scott nods to her and gives her a reassuring smile.
Suddenly Cora's hands went straight to Scott's face, and then she kissed him. Scott kissed back with passion and urgency. They stay like that for a few second before separate from each other.
"find me and make sure we stay together again. doesn't matter how long it takes you, or if you wait for years for it to happen. Just, be sure that we are together again" said Cora looking direct to Scott's eyes, almost with pleading voice and wet eyes.
Scott squeezes Cora's hand and then kiss them. Looking at her with all the love he felt for her. Finally smiling at her.
"I will. doesn't matter how long it will take. I'll make sure that we are together again" said Scott giving a final peck to Cora who only smiled at the gesture and started to walk back, without looking away from Scott.
"just to be sure, remember. Save a few people of the Hale family, save the argent girl, don't let members of your pack get away and make sure to protect them, you will need as many as possible for the future treats. There are certain things that you can change and certain things that you can't. You are a smart person, so I trust that when the time comes you'll make the right decision. And don't forget that you must wait until a specific day before you become a werewolf, not before and not after, but an exact day" said Alexis ready to finish the spell. Scott gives a final glance to all his friends that were alive and with him.
"I'm ready" said with a reassuring smile.
Alexis started the spell. In the beginning, nothing happens, but suddenly the earth started to shake, the sound of thunders and lightning could be heard coming from outside and Scott started to feel an excruciating pain in all his body, especially his mind. He couldn't stop himself from shaking.
"oh my god, what is happening with him?" asked Cora a little afraid for her mate.
"We knew that this could happen. The pain, the pressure in his body and mind is something that a normal person or even a normal Alpha wouldn't be able to handle" said Derek still looking at Scott suffering from a terrible pain.
Things were messy for a few seconds before Scott give a powerful roar and his eyes change from violet to yellow and finally to red. When Scott stop roaring, everything turned black.
