Equestria visits Mobius
Chapter 1: A Trip in the Works
It was another clear day in Equestria. There were ponies out and about doing their business enjoying their hobbies and all. However, up in Canterlot, Twilight Sparkle was planning a big trip to someplace unknown. She was busy discussing the plans with Princess Celestia. Spike was also present.
"So there's another world I think we can visit to spread the message of friendship and peace. It's been documented in Equestria's books it for a while now, but I've heard Rainbow Dash has known it longer than any pony, although I could be wrong on this note." said Twilight.
She showed Celestia a map.
"It's called Mobius." Twilight continued. "It's a planet full of talking animals just like us, but there are humans present in a few places as well."
"Any countries you want to mention?" asked Celestia.
"There are a few nations that rule over these lands, but the Acorn Republic and the United Federation are the most important countries in this planet." Twilight added. She then gave Celestia the bios of these two nations
Celestia looked over the info. She was interested in the leadership these countries. The Acorn Republic's governmental structure caught the princess' attention.
"Hmm, a royal family, a serious princess, have successfully battled a evil doctor... Interesting."
"Come and talk to me when you approve of the idea." said Twilight.
She and Spike left the room for Celestia to think about the idea. A few minutes passed by; Twilight was pretty concerned that the trip won't be approved. There were also other worries as well, such as guests and security. While this was happening, Celestia was talking to Luna and her foreign advisers on the matter.
After a long debate, Celestia opened the doors and said her decision.
"Twilight, we are going to do the trip to Mobius."
She and Spike were happy with excitement. They knew it was gonna be one hell of an adventure.
"Spike, send a message to the foreign ministers of the Acorn Republic and United Federation. Tell them that that the princess of the nation of Equestria is visiting their country." ordered Celestia. "Twilight, tell the news to all of Ponyville about this visit."
The two got right down to work. Spike wrote down letters to the two Mobian countries, and sent it through his magic fire breath. Twilight made copies and copies of paper to spread the news about the visit. It was spread all over town after printing was done. Soon, other ponys spread the paper in many towns and cities throughout Equestria. Meanwhile in Mobius, the foreign ministers saw Spike's letter. They closely read it, and passed it down to their perspective leaders. Their responses were pretty positive. The President and Princess said the following;
"I approve of this trip."
Back in Ponyville at Pinkie Pie's house, Twilight and Spike joined their friends in their excitement.
"I can't wait for the trip to happen soon!" said Rarity.
"I'd love to see how cultures are on that world." said Fluttershy.
"I wonder if they're any party people in their cities!" said Pinkie Pie.
Before any further thought was said, Starlight Glimmer opened the door, and announced even better news.
"Celestia has told me that you guys are gonna join her on the trip to Mobius."
"That includes you?" asked Spike.
"Yup." replied Starlight.
"Yeah!" said Rainbow Dash. "Were gonna meet the coolest hedgehog around!
"Who?" asked Applejack.
"SONIC THE HEDGEHOG!"
