The two young adults were sitting on a field, watching the sunset.
"Jamie," she pressed once more, "why are you still so unhappy?"
He looked at her in silence. "Leave me alone," he hissed.
She sighed, " I just wish you were happy Jamie.."
His ice cold sapphire eyes scanned the grass beneath him, " Happiness is a pathetic emotion. I don't need it. I rather be alone, but I guess your just to dull to understand that!"
His eyes were fierce now, as the wind blew through both of the young adults hair.
She clenched her hand into a fist, resting it onto her heart, " You don't have to be alone... I've known you for so long and.. Your my best friend, Jamie. You might not think so, but I worry about you so much. I can't stand it anymore.. Even after I resurrected the Harvest Goddess, your still unhappy. Why is that Jamie?" The female rancher sobbed.
He looked at her with a blank expression and whispered to her, " Because even after all this time, I still don't have what I want." He looked at her, leaned down, and kissed her.
