And the rewrite has begun! I've replaced the old chapters with these new ones. Sorry for anyone who wanted me to start a new fic for it, but the votes for replacing the old chapters outweighed the ones for starting a new fic. - 3/25/2018

Chapter 1: I Want To Be The Very Best...Ashikabi

A young boy groaned as he woke up in his bedroom and blocked the sunlight from his eyes. The boy was around the age of ten and was of average height for a child that young...okay actually he's shorter than average children his height. He had unruly black hair and what looked like little z's on his cheeks. Sighing as he sat up in his bed, he glanced around his room and quietly muttered under his breath, "I'm still here huh."

Standing up, he looked around the room before smiling as he grabbed his red hat. The front of the hat is white with a stylized 'L' on the front of it. Placing it on his head, he turned to the mirror on the wall and smirked while posing in it. "I don't know why I ever replaced you," he said as he fixed it slightly when noticing it was crooked. He proceeded to head out of the room and down the hall to the kitchen. As he walked down the hallway, he looked at the walls and sighed at the lack of pictures on it.

Shaking his head, he entered the kitchen and chuckled at the sight. On the counter top lied a yellow, 1'04" tall mouse with red circles on its cheeks and lightning bolt-shaped tail. The creature was snoozing away while an empty ketchup bottle lied on its stomach going up and down as it breathed and let out soft, "Chuuu"'s everytime it breathed out.

"The only good thing that's happened since I arrived is that Pikachu has rediscovered his love for ketchup. Well good for him, not good for my wallet..." the boy muttered as he walked pass the counter and over to the fridge. Opening it, he noticed that there was no food in it causing him to let out a large groan before suddenly getting shocked by the creature behind him. Yelling in pain, he slowly fell to the ground and let out a puff of smoke while covered in ash.

"I can always count on you to shock me, huh Pikachu?" the boy said before shaking his body to get the ash and dust off. Climbing back to his feet, he looked over at Pikachu who was now whining over the empty ketchup bottle. Sighing, he reached over and picked Pikachu up. The small creature complained for a second before moving up to his shoulder. The boy smiled at his friend before turning back around.

"I guess we're heading out today Pikachu. We need groceries. I don't know where this money keeps coming from, but I sure appreciate it. It's been hard ever since we were teleported here, but we need to adjust as well as we can until we get back...if we get back," the boy sadly told Pikachu whose ears drooped down.

This boy is Ash Ketchum. He, and Pikachu, are from an alternate dimension than the one they are currently in. Their world is filled with creatures known as Pokemon. Pikachu, himself, is a Pokemon. The people in their world have established bonds with Pokemon and survive alongside them as well.

Children in their world become Pokemon trainers at the age of 10 (if they decide to be trainers), and they are allowed to begin a journey. Whatever that journey consists of depends on the person's dream. Ash became a Pokemon Trainer who competed in various leagues where he obtains badges from Pokemon gyms and then battle against the other trainers who have also gained 8 gym badges. The winner of the League Conference is allowed to battle the Elite Four and Champion for a shot to become the Champion as well. There is a Pokemon League is various different regions, and Ash has competed in 6 of the Pokemon Leagues as well as a Battle Frontier and the Orange League, both of which he won.

Ash's dream is to become a Pokemon Master, and thanks to this dream he has travelled all over. He has captured various Pokemon and has even met every Legendary Pokemon (that he knows of). He also regularly runs into criminal organizations during his journey so he's no stranger to danger. His starter Pokemon, which children receive from their region's Pokemon professor when beginning a journey, was Pikachu. While Pikachu wasn't a traditional starter, Ash was late that morning and the others had been given away by the other children who left on their journeys that day. So Ash received Pikachu. While they weren't originally on the best terms with each other, when Ash was willing to risk himself for Pikachu, the pokemon came around and the two have been best friends ever since that day.

Now, how Ash came to be in this dimension, he is not exactly sure. All he remembers is going to sleep one night and hearing a voice that told him:

"Ash Ketchum, while you might be my Chosen One, another realm needs you. Something is coming, and the protectors have been diverted from their positions. I need you to help them. Please, some of my closest friends are in danger because of this."

The next thing Ash knew, he was waking up in a large apartment in some unknown city in some unknown location. This world didn't have pokemon and instead had regular animals. Some looking similar to Pokemon, but completely different. He thought it was some weird dream at first, but after tripping down the stairs in front of his apartment and experiencing pain, he knew this was real. He just wished that he knew how he got here and who sent him.

Plus, he'd like to know exactly what kind of threat that he would be going against in the future. While he's happy that he has Pikachu, he knew that Pikachu wouldn't be enough to save an entire realm of people. Plus that voice, it sounded so familiar. He just couldn't pinpoint who yet.

Ash jumped as Pikachu hit his face with his tail. It seemed that Ash had once again zoned out...he's been doing that a lot since he arrived. He really missed his mom and his friends, and his other pokemon...Ash sighed as he grabbed his blue hoodie with a lightning bolt on the back. After putting on a black shirt, he placed the hoodie on over top. He then grabbed a pair of jeans and tennis shoes. After getting dressed, he grabbed his backpack and unzipped it.

"Okay Pikachu, jump on in!" Ash happily yelled...well half-heartedly yelled. He still wasn't happy that he couldn't walk around freely with Pikachu on his shoulder. Pikachu nodded and hopped into the backpack which Ash zipped all the way up on both sides except for a little hole at top so Pikachu could peek out. He then placed the backpack on, and he headed to the door.

Once Ash had stepped outside, he sighed happily as the sun shone down on him. He always loved the sunlight, and it seemed to be the same no matter which world he was in. He brought his arms up behind his head and began walking down the street. He's been in this city for a good few weeks so he has gotten the layout down pretty well.

Ash nodded his head at a few regular citizens that he's gotten to know since the time he's arrived. Ash had to lie to them about how he was allowed to stay in an apartment by himself, and about his background whenever they asked. The first thing he could think of was that he was orphaned after his parents got killed in an accident. They had apparently owned the apartment and left it to him. They seemed to buy it so Ash continued to let them believe it.

Ash also had realized that some of the people in the city were weird. He met this one teenage girl who had clung onto him and refused to let go. She only let go when Pikachu had sent a Thunder attack from the backpack and shocked her off. Ash apologized while running away. He wasn't sure, but he could have sworn that he's seen her around the city. He was kind of scared that she was stalking him.

The sound of an explosion caught Ash's attention causing him to turn in the direction the sound came from. "What was that?" Ash muttered under his breath while Pikachu let out a quiet 'Chu' from his backpack. Ash scanned the rooftops for any sign of something that could have caused an explosion, but he didn't see anything. Sighing, he decided it was just his mind playing tricks on him so he continued on down the road.

However, up on the rooftops a girl landed on her feet after dodging a lightning strike. Looking up, she saw two women in...not public clothes standing above her with lightning crackling off their finger tips. The girl looked up at them with a serious expression on her rather beautiful face.

"Please leave me alone! I'm trying to find my Ashikabi! They're going to be my destined one!" the girl pleaded with the two women who just laughed before shooting another lightning blast at the girl who barely left over it.

"Please, this is the best time to eliminate competitors from the Plan. If we get rid of you now, that's one less person to deal with in the long run," the twin with the larger...bust told the girl while her sister walked forward. She smirked as she formed a small spark on her fingertip. She then brought her hand down into a gun gesture.

The second the woman playfully said, "Bang" the girl was hit by a large lightning blast that sent her flying off the roof.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" the girl screamed as she flew through the air before finally starting her descent.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Ash barely heard as he turned around to see where the screaming was coming from. He quickly noticed that all the other civilians were gone which confused him. The screaming got louder and seemed to be coming from above so he glanced up only gasp before a person smashed into him and sent them crashing into the ground. Luckily, Ash had let his backpack slide off the second he saw the person heading his way so Pikachu wouldn't get hurt.

Ash groaned as he felt a rather large weight on top of him. The person wasn't overweight, but they were clearly heavier than him so he had to guess that they were older than him. Ash soon realized that he was running out of oxygen though causing him to open his eyes only to see white and feel two soft orbs pressing down on him.

The girl groaned as she sat up and held her head in pain. That attack really hurt, thankfully, she was able to position herself at the last second to keep herself from getting hurt too badly. As she rubbed her head, she began to hear a muffled sound coming from somewhere nearby. Speaking of which, whatever she landed on felt kind of...soft? Looking down, she gasped as she saw a body coming out from beneath her. She quickly jumped to her feet and looked back where she saw a young boy quickly sit up and gasp in shock.

"That was close! I thought I was going to suffocate!" Ash yelled as he began sucking in a ton of oxygen over and over again. The girl looked at him and began to feel weird. Like it felt as if her heart was beginning to beat faster and faster...her cheeks were beginning to get warmer to. What was happening?

She walked over to the boy and bent down next to him. "Hey...are you okay?" she asked him with the boy looking back at her and smiling.

"Yeah, I'll be fine! Don't worry! Are you okay though that was a pretty hard crash?" Ash asked the mysterious girl who fell on him while inspecting her. She was much taller than he was. Probably as tall as his mom as he only came up to this girl's chest as well. She was wearing a white gi that reminded of Ash of the kind of clothes some mikos he has met wear, a short red skirt, mid-calf brown boots and upper thigh-high white stockings along with what looked to be...combat gloves. She has brown hair with a type of pony tail that looked to reach her hips. She also had an antenna-like strand of hair sticking out at the top of her hair.

The girl smiled back at him and nodded her head in response to his question. This boy was so kind even though she just landed on him. She began to reach out to his cheek only to hear crackling before grabbing him in a tight hug and leaping out of the way as a lightning bolt struck the ground where they were just at.

She looked down in shock as she realized that she instinctively protected him. Could he be...

"So you survived our last attack huh? Well aren't you strong? Sadly, this is the end for you," the twin who sent her flying said while reaching out for her sister's hand so they could charge up an attack. The girl quickly leapt to her feet and got into a fighting position.

"Okay little one, get out of here while I take care of these two!" the girl yelled back to Ash who she stood in front of very protectively. Ash's eyes were extremely wide by now at the sight of humans...well he guessed by now that they weren't humans...using attacks that he has only seen Pokemon use.

"So...I feel like this might have something to do with what I was sent here for...Maybe, it doesn't matter. I need to help this girl!" Ash thought before jumping to his feet and moving in front of the girl. Sticking his arm out, he glared down the twins who just looked at him curiously.

"Stay away from this girl. I don't know why you two are chasing her, but I'm not going to let you hurt her. If you want to get to her, you are going to have to get through me!" Ash yelled angrily while placing his arms out to the side while keeping his glare fixed on them.

The twins stared at him for a second before bursting out laughing. "Please! A little brat like you is trying to get in our way? Kid, you better move now before we knock you out with a 'little' shock," the bustier one said while her sister just smirked at Ash although she seemed to be going a little red in the face.

Ash scoffed as he crossed his arms and looked back at them, "Please. I've faced far more terrifying people than you in my life. In fact, you two are about as terrifying as Team Rocket, and they can't do anything right. If you are anything like them, I could probably stand off to the side, and you still couldn't accomplish whatever you are trying to do." A smirk appeared on Ash's face after mocking the twins.

While they might not know who he was referring to, they still felt pissed off. A vein began bulging on the bustier twin's forehead as an annoyed smile appeared on both twins' faces. They soon began forming a large ball of lightning as large as Ash was tall.

"Die with her then brat!" the bustier twin yelled as she took the ball of lightning into her hands and tossing it at Ash and the girl who was about to jump in front of Ash to take the attack in his place only for Ash to pull his hat back, punch his other hand, and yell loudly.

"Pikachu use Iron Tail!" Ash yelled as he pointed at the attack. The other three people in the area heard Ash, and before they could question him, a yellow blur shot forward and quickly smashed into the attack which sent it flying back at the twins. Their eyes widened in shock as they threw out their hands to block the attack. Sadly, the ball of lightning was too powerful and blew up, sending them flying over the rooftops.

The girl looked on in shock as a yellow mouse landed on his shoulder and nuzzle his cheek. "You did great Pikachu!" Ash happily yelled before freezing as he remembered the girl. Slowly turning around, they both looked at the girl who was staring at him in shock. There was silence before a loud squeal cut it as the girl tackled Ash to the ground and hugged him tightly before hugging Pikachu into her large, soft bust.

"That was amazing! And this little thing is so adorable! What was his name? Pikachu right? He's adorable!" the girl happily yelled while sitting on Ash's stomach and hugging Pikachu. Ash groaned under her weight while Pikachu began complaining from her grip before finally let out a small growl and letting loose a Thunder attack which hit both Ash and the girl.

The girl dropped Pikachu in shock allowing him to move back over to the backpack out of grabbing distance. The girl fell over sideways off of Ash allowing him to sit up. He looked over at Pikachu with a slight annoyed look. "You didn't have to Thunder her Pikachu," Ash told Pikachu who just stuck his tongue out at him. Sighing, Ash bent down and, with some effort, picked her up bridal style.

Walking over, he bent down and picked up his backpack after having Pikachu climb back in. "I guess we can get groceries another day," Ash told Pikachu as he walked back home while ignoring the looks people began sending him. So he was a ten year old carrying a grown woman...not that odd...at least not back in his world.

It took him a few minutes, since she had began to move around in his arm, but he finally reached his apartment. Smiling, he climbed the stairs and opened the door. Walking in, he kicked the door shut behind him and walked over to the couch where he gently laid the girl. Sighing in relief, he sat down on the floor in front of her while letting Pikachu out of his backpack. Pikachu looked at the girl cautiously before moving over to the chair on the other side of the room.

"That was insane Pikachu. Those two women could shoot lightning out of their finger tips like how you can shoot lightning out of your body. It was awesome! I wonder if this girl has any interesting powers..." Ash trailed off while looking at the girl. He didn't know what it was, but he felt rather...connected to this girl.

"Hey Pikachu...do you think that this girl has anything to do with why we were sent here?" Ash questioned Pikachu who brought his hand up to his chin and began pondering that as well. It seemed likely. The fact that they ran into a bunch of superhumans probably had something to do with why they were here.

After a couple of hours, Pikachu had decided to take a small nap on the chair while Ash continued watching over the girl. The girl moved around in her sleep while mumbling causing Ash to chuckle. He didn't know what it was, but there was something about this girl.

"Huh...whe-where am I?" Ash snapped out of his thoughts at the sound of the girl's voice. She sleepily looked around before spotting Ash. Her eyes widened before a large smile formed on her face as she tackled him to the ground in a tight hug.

"Yay! You're still here!" the girl happily yelled while smothering Ash in her chest. Ash tried to speak, but he was unable to open his mouth without getting a mouthful of her bust. She finally let go when he began flailing around.

"Good...you-you're awake. I-I want to introduce myself since we didn't have a chance to when we met. I am Ash Ketchum," Ash told the girl who smiled back at him.

"Hi! I am No. 88! Musubi's my name!" she happily yelled while pointing at herself causing Ash to chuckle before he realized what she said. "Number 88? What's with the number?" Ash thought to himself.

Suddenly, a large growling sound cut through the room causing Ash to look at her in shock. Was that the sound of her stomach? Not even his stomach growled that loud when he got hungry. The girl just laughed while scratching the back of her head.

"I guess I'm hungry," Musubi chuckled causing Ash to laugh before remembering that he was out of food. His head drooped forward as he sighed. Looking over at the sleeping Pikachu, he shrugged his shoulders before standing up.

"Come on Musubi, I'll treat you to some food down at the local diner," Ash offered Musubi whose eyes sparkled at the sound of food. Ash reached out to help Musubi off the couch, but the second their hands touched, Musubi's eyes glazed over and her heart began to beat faster than normal. Ash looked at her in concern while also slightly feeling his cheeks warm up.

Before he could question her, she moved forward and pinned him against the wall with a surprising amount of strength. Yep, she definitely had powers. Ash looked up at her in confusion only for his eyes to widen, and his face to turn red as she leaned in and kissed him on the lips.

The next thing he saw was wings made of light bursting from her back. After another few seconds, she moved back and smiled down at Ash. "Finally...my ashikabi. I found you," Musubi told Ash before hugging onto him with Ash still standing in shock at what just happened.

"What's an Ashikabi?!"

And the new first chapter is done! I hope you all enjoyed it! I know I ended it without Ash speaking to Minaka, but I felt this was a better ending spot. Anyway, I hope everyone enjoys the five new chapters!
Also, hehe, I might have mentioned Yukari in this chapter. Just not by name.
Also yes, like in the original chapters, Uzume is not allowed to be suggested since she will be paired with her canon Ashikabi, Chiho.
