(Just a quickie explaining Newthia. Doc Scratch is the guy telling the story, but you can imagine someone else.)
Well, hello. I would say I wasn't expecting you, but I would be lying. An omnipotent being such as I will know exactly when his guest were coming. And I am an omnipotent being.
No doubt you want to understand what Newthia is. Well, allow me to explain.
Newthia is a Homestuck AU. The AU centers around the troll Vantas, and the human Jack Egbert, and their friends. It is set on the planet Newthia. The kids and trolls play a game that will teach them how to repopulate their species by allowing them to meet their ancestors and parents.
What happened pre-story is fairly simple. After defeating their game, the trolls, led by Karkat Vantas, became gods to the new universe they made. However, it was not as simple as it sounds. They somehow managed to get themselves sent to the time when John Egbert and his friends played their game. In the end, though, both games were won.
But the human children had no interest in becoming gods to a new universe. So, instead, they found a new planet in their universe, and, using their remarkable powers, designed it to accommodate their offspring.
After bearing offspring, the humans and trolls each chose a side of the planet, which they named Newthia, and left their children there with enough supplies to last them their entire life spans.
They also left a game, based off the very game that destroyed their worlds. The left instructions for the children, as to when and how to play the game.
The rules were simple. On their 18th birthday, or 9th wriggling day, they would play the game, which would lead them to their parents and ancestors. After finding their parents and ancestors, the kids and trolls would be told how to save both their species, and other things would be explained to them.
However, there were…complications. Due to the nature of the game's predecessor, the game the trolls and kids played granted the ability to go God-Tier, and forced them to play a spin-off of the real game. Thankfully, there were…others…who insured that the trolls would be safe. They also managed to set up a fail-safe for the programming of the kid's kernelsprites.
I suppose if you want to understand, you should read the story. I'm not as good a host as I once was.
