The Chibi and the Giant

The sunlight shone brightly in cute little Lawliet's face and he blinked, stretched himself and padded out of bed. Peeking into the hallway with his eyes closed, he grinned and said; "Good morning, all!" Nobody answered. "Huh?" He looked around. "I-I don't see anyone…." He ran downstairs to the kitchen. No one was there, too. "H'mm…. Where could they be? Maybe it's somebody's birthday? Maybe they left to get me doughnuts?" He inspected the tall fridge handles and started to jump up and down. "Darn it. Aisuru-chan's handles are too tall." He trotted over to the cabinets, humming to himself, and rummaged around to see if she had any leftover sweets lying around. He found a pack of marshmallows, chocolate chips, and a small bag of brown sugar. "Yay~! I can have breakfast!" he smiled and started eating. Not long after he started eating, he found a glowing blue bean in the pack of sugar. Licking it, he put it on the floor next to him and finished the sugar. "Lawliet will plant this now~." He sang, not bothering to clean up his mess. He went outside, using the dog-door since as he was chibi, could not reach the handle. H set to work in the garden, digging a hole deep enough for the bean. Dropping it into the hole, he turned on the water and watered it. (Or rather drowned it.) He sat back and started to hum. A few seconds later, the ground started to shake, and a huge vine started growing out of the ground. "Wah~!" Lawliet shook and watched in horror as his best friend's porch roof was ruined by the vine. But the vine proved to be made of candy, so he scurried up it quickly. H scurried up and up and up, and before too long, he found himself surrounded by clouds. Seeing a sweet-looking castle ahead, he ran forward and into the castle. "Does anyone live here?" he asked, looking around. He found a huge cake and dived into it hungrily. "Yum~! Lawliet is happy he climbed up the vine. "Who is talking?" asked a huge, fierce voice. "I'm Lawliet!" Lawliet said indignantly. "Not 'Who is talking'!" "I don't care. Get out of my castle." A huge, ginger haired giant stood before the tiny Lawliet and picked him up. "Put me down! Put me down! If you put me down, I'll let you kill all the criminals in the world!" The giant cocked his head and looked at him. "And how?" Lawliet dug around in his pockets and found a thick black book with the words 'Death Note' written on the cover. "Here, but let me go and take all the candy I want. Agreed?" "I'll even let you have any room here!" The giant said, putting Lawliet down. "I'm Yagami Light! But call me Light-kun." "No, I'm hungry, so bye!" Lawliet said, quite rudely. But the giant was busy writing names down, already being instructed by a strange looking thing with a love for apples. And Lawliet, our cute chibi Lawliet, was busy eating cake.
Alternate Ending
"What happened here?" Aisuru-chibi-chan asked herself, looking at the porch and the vine. "And Lawliet said he'd wait for me outside…." A brown haired boy shook his head and sighed. "I knew we shouldn't have left the chibi alone!"
