I stepped into the big, white, immaculately decorated, house and immediately smelled a human. What are they doing with a human in the house?
"Megan," said Carlisle, "So nice to see you again!"
"Nice to see you too" I said with a fake smile plastered on my face.
"You remember Esme, Rose, Jasper, Alice, Emmett, and Edward, don't you?"
I noticed that Edward was clutching a human girl. She was very pale with brown hair down her back. She was clutching onto Edward with big, wide eyes staring out at me.
"Of course I remember everyone!" I said with a questioning eye at the girl.
"Oh, but of course, I forgot to introduce you to Bella," Carlisle said pointing to the girl next to Edward, "she is Edward's girlfriend."
I wanted to scream, No how could you! Edward is mine! You have no right to him, you are a mere human! But instead I took her hand and responded politely, "Hello Bella, my name is Megan and I am from the Denali clan. It is nice to meet you."
