A TRUE SMILE
It was all her fault, why did she have to hit him with a shuriken.
(Flashback)
Neji and Tenten had been training harder than usual, so hard that Tenten's hair had fallen out of its usual two buns.
Neji had noticed this (duh der) and immediately stopped fighting. Tenten didn't know or care why but he had stopped but she took the opportunity to finally beat him and plus she thought her attack would get his attention back, cause it was basically creeping her out.
Boy was she wrong. Not only did it not get his attention back but she had tripped over her own feet(yay clumsy people) and her aim had gone a few inches of course and cutting a good three inches into his muscle, making his arm bleed non-stop.(Neji had regained focus by now)
She took out her phone and called Sakura, who while her parents were away spent her free time at the hospital, and asked her if the could get a bed ready.
(End flashback)
'It's all my fault, it's all my fault' she thought continuously
He had been healed fast but remained in the hospital on the account of way too much blood loss.
When the nurse came out and said visitors were allowed Tenten quickly ran into the room to see a paler than usual Neji. When she realized he was asleep she sat in the chair and laid her head on her knees. After 5 minutes she had fallen asleep.
About 20 minutes later she was woken by a slight movement. She had stood up to see a tired Neji.
"Hey you woke up" Tenten started as she walked over to the cot thingy.
"Looks like you did too"
"Yeah, I'mreallysorryaboutwhatididididn'tmeantoitwasatotalaccidentandItripped……do you hate me?"
"What…..no I don't hate you, how could you think that?"
She really didn't know.
"….."
"Even you don't have the answer" he said as he smirked
"You just proved me wrong and you don't even give a real smile"
"That wouldn't make me smile"
"Then what would?"
"This" he said as he started to lean forward
"Neji, what are y…….." her words were cut short by the feeling of Neji's lips pressed against her's. Her eyes widened in shock but soon enough she returned the kiss. They kissed as long as their lungs would allow them.
'Wow, my first kiss, not bad' they thought simultaneously
For the first and probably the last time in her life she saw Neji truly smile.
