The sun shone brightly in the vivid blue sky, as there were barely any clouds in it at all. A gentle breeze swayed through the trees, bringing some relief to the citizens of Tidmouth as they walked down the street on this hot summer day.

One of the citizens is a young man dressed in a white shirt and blue jeans. On the rooftop of his school, the prestigious Sodor University, he gazes out at the town below. His dark brown hair was being blown gently by the breeze outside. In his hand is a necklace with a red jewel at the end.

This is the story of an event that happened to me over the course of two months. When I'm done telling you, you'll think that it came straight out of an anime program. But I must tell you, that's not the case at all.

The young man holds the small jewel in his hand, smiling fondly at it as he remembers something. Closing his fist around the jewel, he looks up to the sky as more memories flood his mind.

The people I met during this time….the friends I made….the experiences I had all came from this one little jewel that's sitting in my hand. I know that most people would say that I'm getting a little sentimental here, but it's really the truth. Most people wish that they could have magic powers. I'm one of them, and I've always been told to be careful with what I wish for. Well, who knew that this ended really being a blessing in disguise?

The camera pans out to get a clear shot of the sky, and the sun shining down on Thomas.

The saga of the Sodor Magic Crusaders begins now.

Iheartgod175 proudly presents:

Sodor Magic Crusaders

Story Created: July 25th, 2012

Story Written: July 12th, 2013

Rated: T for Teen (due to moderate violence, depressing/tense moments, and small romance)

Summary: A humanized fusion fic with Lyrical Nanoha, with a lot of twists from the original. Seven pages of an immensely powerful book called the Book of Transformation are stolen by two mages named Edward and Percy, and in an attempt to escape from a sworn enemy, Percy heads to the Island of Sodor to hide, causing mages- both good and evil- from another dimension to bring their dangerous war there. When university student Thomas gets caught up in the fight, he is soon forced to become a mage to protect himself- and help Edward and Percy prevent the end of the world as we know it.

Author's Note: Here's a crazy idea for a fusion fic: what would you get if you humanized the Thomas characters and put them in the world of Nanoha? This story, that's what. After spending nearly a year brainstorming, writing and then dropping it, I began to get back into the Thomas series, and reading some of my one-shot Crusader stories brought this story to my attention. And while this is technically a fusion fic, it's really more of a divergence fic, since I have many original locations, Devices, and plot orders that weren't present in MGLN's first season. So, expect to see something completely different with this story.

Before I start, I just want to give thanks to my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, who is the reason that I'm still here and able to create stories like this one. Thank You for giving me this talent, which I will use to glorify Your name. Amen.

Disclaimer: I own nothing of Thomas or Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha, AT ALL. Thomas belongs to Hit Entertainment, Britt Allcroft and the Awdry family-the late Rev. W. Awdry and his son Christopher Awdry. Nanoha belongs to Masaki Tsuzuki and Seven Arcs. I also don't own any of the songs that I put in as the opening and ending. I only own this story, the locations I've made for it, and the characters I've made.

Oh, and for reference, the Opening is "Eternal Blaze" by Nana Mizuki, and the ending is "Tori no Uta" by Lia.

Act 1: The Gathering of the Players

Dream Dimension

City of Perth, Easter's second-largest city

Time: Unknown

"Edward, is it just me, or is it a bit quiet here?" Percy asked. His blond hair was a mess due to the skirmish they had nearly managed to avoid.

His senior in magic turned to him, a worried look on his face. "It's too quiet for my liking, Percy. Something's more than a little off about this place," he said.

For the last few days, Edward and Percy, two citizens of the Dimensional Kingdom of Easter, had been on the run from the authorities. They'd used many fake identities and disguises while they were trying to leave the kingdom. A few hours ago, they had nearly gotten into a fight with a couple of police from the Dimensional Bureau, which was sure to ruin their reputation.

Edward could only pray that they hadn't seen their faces. As he and Percy made their way into the city, he got the sudden feeling that something was very, very wrong. Normally during this time of day, it was very lively with people bustling about. When presented with an empty city, covered by a dark yellow sky, it became clear as to why there were no people around.

"Percy, you've got to go ahead of me," he said, turning to the mage hurriedly. "Don't even try to argue. There's only a matter of time before the Counts are onto us and-"

Edward didn't get to finish as a high pitched whine filled the air. He turned around to see a red comet fly at him at breakneck speeds, ready to slam him straight into the ground. Thinking quickly, he put up a shield. The moment the missile slammed into it, he felt like he was being shoved downwards. Behind him, Percy stared at him in shock.

"GO!" he yelled. "I don't know if they're all out here, but if they are, you'd better run for it!"

"W-Where should I go?!" Percy shouted.

"H-Head for Sodor! It's the only place you can get to without exhausting your magic!" Edward groaned.

Before Percy could move, a gunshot exploded. He turned to see a green bullet of energy fly at him. Percy had no time to react, and was hit, flying straight into Edward. This caused his shield to collapse, and the comet slammed into both of them. A small explosion occurred then, and Percy and Edward flew out of the cloud of smoke, completely disoriented.

"Hm. I seriously thought that you had better reflexes than that, Percy," a voice called lazily from the shadows. "This is far too easy for me."

"I agree. It's no fun when your opponents don't fight back," a second voice added.

Edward's eyes widened in horror, and Percy stared at the person standing in front of him. A tall man stood in front of him, pointing a gun at his face. His light brown hair looked dark in the limited light, as did his light green eyes. He wore green jacket with a white tank top and green pants. In his hands were two handguns. The one in his right hand had thin trail of white smoke coming from the barrel.

"Henry…?" Percy asked tentatively.

"Well, I'm actually surprised you remembered who I am, Percy," Henry replied, pausing to blow the smoke off the barrel.

"Henry…why are you attacking us? We're your friends, remember?!" Edward asked.

"Those days are long gone, old man." Edward turned around to see a man with jet black hair, dark blue eyes, and wearing a red outfit lined with several yellow crosses. In his right hand was what looked like a high-tech croquet mallet. "We've already moved on from that, after you abandoned us."

"That's not true, James! I never abandoned you to that monster you call your boss!" Edward pushed himself to a standing position, and glared at the other man. "You chose that path on your own!"

James laughed. "Like I'm supposed to believe that."

"What was the last thing that you told me before I resigned? You said you'd stay there even if it cost you your life. I told you there would be consequences to that, James, but you didn't listen. What's the point of trying to argue with someone so stubborn if they're not going to listen?" Edward retorted angrily.

"Stubborn?!" James was aghast. "You'd better take that back, old man, or your time's gonna come sooner than you think!"

"And while you're at it, hand over the suitcase. We already know what's in it," Henry said, pointing his gun at Edward.

Percy glared at the larger man. "You're not getting the pages, Henry!" he said.

"And what makes you think you can stop me?" Henry asked.

"This!" Summoning every ounce of magic in his body, Percy created a massive green shield that surrounded him entirely, and lifted him off the floor. "Protection Smash!"

Henry waited too long to run. The minute he turned around and took off, Percy caught him in a flying tackle that sent him flying halfway down the street. Before James could do anything, Edward created a large sphere of blue energy with his hand, aiming right at James.

"What the-"

"Impact Cannon!" Edward yelled, and punched the sphere with his fist. The sphere collided with James, creating a small explosion that sent him flying backwards several feet. Edward turned to Percy, who was recovering from the Protection Smash.

"Percy, grab the suitcase and go!" he yelled. The smaller mage wasted no time in following his mentor's orders, and picked up the sacred item before taking off running for the heart of downtown Perth.

Before Edward could move, James got to his feet. His face was contorted into rage as he got into a fighting position.

"You're going to regret that, old man! Let's go, Graf Eisen!" he said to his mallet.

"Yes sir," it replied, and James lurched forward, his mallet ready to smash Edward's face in. "Tödlicher Schlag!"

Edward barely had time to put up a shield as James slammed his hammer into it. While this was going on, he sensed another attack charging behind him. Out of the corner of his eye, Henry was preparing to shoot another attack.

Great, Edward thought. Thinking quickly, he summoned more energy in his left hand, covering it completely with blue energy. Just when James was about to break through his shield, he waved his hand to the side, which sent his attack over to James.

"Cross Smasher!"

A huge explosion occurred, covering the street in blue and white smoke. Henry shot the Phantom Blazer before it was completely charged, but by then, it was too late as a bright blue streak of light shot out of the smoke cloud. A scream sounded from the other side, and James flew out of the cloud, enraged. Part of his jacket had been torn off.

"Henry, you stupid idiot!" he yelled. "Look what you did to my clothes!"

"I fired the minute he attacked! If I had known the cloud was going to be that huge…"

"Next time, attack faster!" James hissed. "Now, we've got to go and chase them both down! You find the pipsqueak, and I'll get Edward!"

As both men split up across town, Percy hid in the shadows, carefully clutching the suitcase to this chest. He tried to calm himself down, but his mind was racing with millions of possibilities. What if they both got caught in the process? What if neither of them made it Sodor? What if their biggest enemy succeeded in completing what Edward was trying so hard to stop?

No. He couldn't let questions born from worry plague him now. Edward had told him to get to Sodor, and it didn't matter if he had to use all the magic in him to get there. It was up to one of them to protect the pages, and it might as well be him.

Now, to get through the barrier was a rather tricky matter. Percy silently crept down the alleyways, and reached into his pocket for a small red jewel. It was a Device he'd picked up during one of his excavations in the ruins. Currently, he could only use the sealing and search functions on it, as it had deemed him unfit to use it.

But if he could manage to trick it out to where he could use it in order to break out of the barrier….

"I don't know if it'll work, but it's worth a try," he said, and took off running.

City of Perth

A few moments after the escape…

Donned in his Barrier Jacket, Edward looked around for any sign of his powerful opponents. He knew that it wouldn't be long before either of them caught up to him, as both of them could take attacks of that magnitude. He could only hope that he had enough magic to hold them off for a little while longer, at least before they tried to chase after Percy.

His thoughts were interrupted when he heard gunshots behind him. A green bullet whizzed past his shoulder, tearing off one part of it. It was Henry.

Doing quick aileron rolls to avoid the entourage of bullets, Edward was about to turn around and attack when he heard the screams of missiles in front of him. He looked ahead, and was shocked to see four red spheres surge towards him.

"I'm being ambushed on both sides!" Halting, he raised his hand to summon a shield, but at that moment, four green strings surrounded him, binding his limbs at his sides. Edward struggled to break out of the binds as the bullets sped up.

"Bind Break!" he called, and immediately, two magic circles appeared, one above and one below, applying magic to Henry's binding spell. It took less than a few seconds, as Henry's binds were significantly weaker than his own…

…but it was a few seconds too late, as all four missiles were on him before he could put up a shield. A massive explosion occurred then, covering the sky in a plume of black smoke. Edward spiraled towards one of the buildings, and hit the roof of a bank building with a crash that left a huge crater in it.

Before he could move, powerful streams of magic washed over his body as he was caught in another binding spell. At this point, though, Edward was too weak to move, and could barely get his vision to focus as James and Henry came into view.

"Well, I guess you're worth something to our team, Henry. Go and chase after that pipsqueak like I told you," James ordered. "I'll take care of Edward."

"Got it," Henry said, and took off for the skies, ready to search for Percy.

James turned towards the disabled Edward, who glared at him with an uneasy look in his eye. The wicked gleam in his eye was unmistakable.

"In the meantime, Edward, I think I'll be taking you back to base. You know D-10 would love to see you again," he said patronizingly.

Edward felt the color drain out of his face as he was roughly hauled to his feet. Diesel 10, known to many people as the Diabolical Count of Darkness, was the reason why he and Percy were in such a hurry to get away from Sylvania with their treasured item. Edward knew that if he went back to that awful place, there was the likelihood that he would end up a dead man-and everything he'd fought for would end being for nothing.

As James dragged him into the open sky, Edward began to silently pray that things wouldn't get worse than they already were.

(Eyecatch 1: In a bright blue background, a star flies out of the upper left hand corner of the screen, landing on the lower right hand corner. The Sodor Magic Crusaders logo appears after the star lands in place.)

(Eyecatch 2: Percy is seen falling out of sky, knocked unconscious. As he drops to unknown territory below, the Sodor Magic Crusaders logo appears on the lower left hand corner.)

Some time later...

"I…don't think…I'll be doing that…again!"

Percy was standing outside of the barrier, gasping for breath as he recovered from casting the transport spell that managed to pull him out of there. As it had turned out, he'd been able to sync with the Device to allow its more potent magic to mix with his own, which greatly enhanced the spell and allowed him to leave without being seen.

However, it had taken quite a toll on him. He could feel the energy in his body being rapidly sapped away from him, and he could barely walk. It was by sheer force of will that he was on the other side of the forest and not out in the open.

"I need to prepare a teleport for me and Edward," he said. "Hopefully, he's having an easier time than I am."

"Percy…"

Percy snapped to attention upon the sudden telepathic link. "Edward? Are you alright? You sound weak!"

"That's because James has put me in an anti-magic immobilization binding spell. It's taking all of my strength to even talk to you right now," Edward said.

"Oh, no. Does James have you captive?"

"Yes. I won't be able to join you at Sodor. Just remember to keep those pages safe. It could be utterly disastrous if they fall into the wrong hands."

"That's why you stole them in the first place, right?"

There was a small pause, and then, "Yes. That's exactly why. Now, hurry up and go; James sent Henry to look for you!"

"Alright. Do be careful, Edward."

"I'll be careful. And you'd do good to be careful, too. Now hurry!"

After disengaging their telepathic link, Percy summoned what was left of his magic into the palm of his hand. His vision was blurring, and his limbs were giving out, but he couldn't give up too soon. Edward was counting on him; forget that, the world was counting on him. That thought alone gave him the extra push to gather the last bit of energy into the spell, although he nearly collapsed as a result.

The moment another circle appeared above him, Henry arrived. Thinking that the support mage couldn't use another drop of power, he was quite surprised to see Percy ready to teleport. Quickly, he started to charge four bullets of energy.

"Stay where you are!" he yelled. "Give me the pages of the Book of Transformation!"

"You really think…I'll let you have…seven of the most important parts of the most powerful tome in the Dimensions?" Percy breathed. "I'll never do that!"

Henry's voice was dangerous. "Unless you want to die, you will," he said, and pointed the guns at Percy.

This is it, Percy thought. "Dimensional Transport, take me to the Island of Sodor!" he shouted. The green orb in his hand shot into the air, opening a large hole in the sky that caused it to go black. A green beam shot through with blue streaks descended on Percy.

"Barrel Shot."

"FIRE!" Henry yelled, and fired all four bullets as the beam covered up Percy. The beam, however, created a sort of shield around the mage, and all four bullets bounced off it, flying in wayward directions. One nearly managed to hit Henry himself. By the time he managed to recover, the teleport spell did its job. In a matter of seconds, Percy was gone, and with it, the transport hole.

Henry barely had time to formulate a response as James suddenly came into his mind. "Henry, did you catch that little pipsqueak?"

"The little shrimp got away," Henry growled. "He had it ready the minute I got there."

"Great. Now we've got to go and track him down!" James said.

"No need. Don't forget that Gordon's in Sodor. He'll be able to take care of Percy."

"You do have a point, since he's as good as gone by the time he gets to Sodor. Anyway, that shrimp's the least of our problems. We've got the ringleader, just like Diesel 10 ordered. Let's head back to base."

"I'll be there after I get rid of the barrier," Henry replied. After disengaging the link, he quickly applied a Blitzkrieg and took off of for the sky. He couldn't help but smile as he thought of Edward's fate.

The old coot deserves it, since he's the one who started this in the first place. And since Percy's going to get the boot as well, it seems that all of our problems will be solved in no time.

Present-day: December 2nd, 2012, Sodor University Student Dorms

Apartment 23

7: 30 A.M.

Loud rock music exploded into Thomas' mind, nearly sending him leaping out of bed. It took a moment for him to realize that it was actually his cell phone's alarm, so he reached for it, ready to turn it off. The first time, he knocked it off the nightstand. He was successful on his second try, and turned the cell phone off before the alarm could start again.

Sitting up and stretching, he sighs, "Thank goodness that I won't have to wake up this early again," he said. He soon got up and went about his daily routine of getting his clothes ready for the day, and taking a shower.

Hey there. The name's Thomas, and I am a student at Sodor University. I'm majoring in engineering, since I'm what you might call a hands on guy. I love tinkering with metal and other things. Later on, I'll probably head to the military. Or build my own weapons. Whichever one, I know I'm going to enjoy it.

After heading out of the shower, Thomas stood in front of the mirror to check himself. He is a short, average-sized man with a handsome face, a shock of dark brown hair and bright blue eyes. Wearing a sweater with the school's logo on it, along with a dress shirt underneath, he looks like one of the preppy frat boys, although he's far from it.

Thomas went down the hall into the kitchen and saw that his roommate, Toby, was sitting at the table eating a bowl of oatmeal and drinking coffee. Dressed in a brown leather jacket and jeans, he looked like a biker, although it would take much convincing to get him to ever ride one.

"Guess I didn't make it to the table early enough," Thomas teased.

"Hey, don't forget; you stayed up until midnight cramming for the exam today," Toby replied, pointing at him with his spoon. "I told you to study the day before."

"I know, I know. But I couldn't help it. I had to beat that game or else it'd sit on my shelf like the rest of my games," Thomas said.

"Maybe you should take your dedication to video games and put it towards your trigonometry class," Toby smirked, knowing Thomas' hatred for that class.

"Don't remind me of that. I'm still not looking forward to that exam," Thomas said, preparing his breakfast. He opted to eat a bagel and have a cup of coffee. He poured in lots of cream and sugar, and stirred it in. Toby stared at him like he was crazy.

"What? You know I don't take my coffee black, like you do. It tastes like black water," Thomas said.

"Hey, that black water's delicious!" Toby protested.

After a few moments of humorously arguing over coffee, they came to the conclusion that neither could force the other to like what he drank. Thomas finished up his breakfast and Toby rushed into his room to grab any other things. Thomas chuckled to himself when he remembered how Toby had looked when he was talking about the coffee. "Black water" was an interesting way to describe coffee indeed.

In case you can't tell, Toby's my roommate. He's shorter than me, but also 2 years older than me, so he knows a lot of things. We knew each other in high school, although I was a freshman and he was a junior, but we didn't really get to know each other until later when we both went to the same university. Unlike me, he's a total nerd, likes complete order, and sometimes acts like my father on occasions. But all in all, he's a good pal to have.

Thomas picked up his history, chemistry and trigonometry books and meets Toby out in the hall. Toby has only his trigonometry book and history book, as they're in the same class.

"Come on, we'd better go. Study hall is only open for an hour today," he said.

"I know, I know," Thomas said, and after making sure that he had his keys and wallet, he and Toby rushed out the door. Before bolting down the hall, Thomas ran back and locked the door. Toby didn't wait and rushed down the emergency stairs.

"Hey, Toby, wait up!" Thomas yelled as the door banged shut. After putting his keys in his pocket, he took off and ran for the emergency stairs.

It was at that moment that a bright green light flooded the window in the hallway. Thomas stopped in his tracks, unable to tear his eyes from the window as a blond man dressed in tattered clothing dropped out of the sky, completely unconscious. After a few moments, the light disappeared.

Thomas ran to the window, looking any trace of the man. There was a loud crash as something fell on the trash cans outside, and a thud.

Before Thomas could do anything, the doors to the emergency stairs flew open to reveal Toby standing there. The shock on his face was as clear as a written message.

"Thomas…did you see what I just saw?" he gasped. Too stunned to even reply, Thomas nodded.

"Who in the world…was that?" Toby asked, breathing easier. Just when he was about to head back downstairs, Thomas pushed past him and ran down the steps, looking like a man on a mission. "Thomas, where are you going?"

"I'm going to find out who that guy is! I've got questions to ask him!" he shouted.

"But we're going to miss study hall!" Toby replied.

"Toby, a random guy falling out of the sky is more important than study hall! We can't just leave him there!" Thomas argued.

Toby didn't have a reply for that, although he had his misgivings about the situation. "Hold on, I'll be down there in a minute!" he said, and rushed down the stairs as Thomas bolted out the door.

When Thomas ran outside, he looked over at the alley to the right, where the trash cans were. He ran over there when he saw several trash cans spilled over on the street. When he got there, he couldn't believe what he was seeing.

The man was bleeding from falling on the trash cans, the worst area being his head and arms. Thomas could now see his attire, which consisted of a green and cream tunic over a pair of tan pants, a dark brown T-shirt, a tan cape, cut-off gloves, and tan boots. He looked like he'd just come from another world.

"Oh my God." Toby had managed to get over to Thomas' side, and was equally horrified by what he was seeing. When the man began to stir, both Toby and Thomas were over at his side in an instant. Thomas took off his sweater and pressed it to the man's head to slow the flow of blood. He blinked a few times, and groaned as he was being carried by both Toby and Thomas.

"P-Please….help me," he moaned. "Before…they come after me…"

"Who's coming after you? The police?" Toby asked.

"No…something far worse. Diesel 10's Counts are coming for me because I have something that they need," he explained. "And if you're not careful…they'll come for you two as well."

Thomas nearly dropped him upon hearing that, and Toby's eyes looked ready to pop out of their skull. Before they could ask any more questions, the man slipped into unconsciousness again. This woke them up from their shocked stupor, and they hauled him over to the door, and headed up the emergency stairs. Thomas was careful to make sure that a trail of blood didn't follow them inside.

"Well, now we have a day off from school," Toby muttered as they went up the stairs. "Are you happy now, Thomas?"

"This isn't how I wanted it to turn out, obviously. But I couldn't just leave him out there! He could've died out there from blood loss!" Thomas argued back. "Right now, we need to get this guy some help!"

"Don't worry. I've got gauze and the first aid kit in the bathroom. We'll patch him up and have him ready to go in no time," Toby answered.

Today, I was supposed to be taking my exams. But today, I find myself rescuing a guy who crashed into the alley. The minute that guy crashed into the alley, life as I knew it vanished in the blink of an eye. As I found out later, this was only the beginning of something much bigger…

Above the town of Tidmouth, a large man sat on top of one of the buildings, overlooking the city. He was dressed in a baby blue jacket outlined with grey armor plates, and wore a white tank top underneath it. He also wore dark blue jeans and metal boots, and in his right hand he held a sword. At first glance, it looked to be made of plastic, but it was known to shatter other weapons with one blow. His dark blue eyes were focused on a bronze orb he held in his hand, which gave him a full layout of the city.

Technically speaking, he wasn't supposed to be on active duty at the moment; he was on his monthly holiday, and had decided to spend his time on the island of Sodor. The moment he received word about Percy's whereabouts, he found himself cutting his vacation shorter than he expected. Now, his main job was to find Percy, capture him and bring the pages back to his boss. The boss would figure out what to do with him, along with Edward.

At last, he found something. The green dot in the middle of town indicated that Percy was there, and by the looks of it, it was at the student dormitories for Sodor University. Also, from what he could tell, Percy's magic was nearly gone, which would only make his capture easier.

The orb disappeared from Gordon's hand, and he stood up, ready to get into action. His Armed Device, Laevatein, glowed in his hands.

"Target is located several miles away from the university. Location is inside the dorms," Laevatein said, in German.

"Right. Let's finish this quickly, Laevatein," Gordon replied.

"Yes sir."

This is almost too easy, Gordon thought as he took off for the dorms. I'll have the pages back in no time. And when he sees that I've blown his little plan out of the water, Edward's going to be in for a real shocker before D-10 deals with him.

Next act:

Thomas: Geez, what a way to start the day, huh? Meeting a random guy falling out of the sky…

Percy (groaning): You…you're the guy who took me in?

Thomas: Yeah! And I have a whole bunch of questions to ask you. First off, why did you suddenly show up falling out of the sky?

Percy: Well, first off, my name is Percy, and I'm a mage from another world.

Thomas: Oh, that makes perfect se-wait, what?

(At D-10's headquarters)

Diesel 10: Ah, Edward. It's wonderful to see you again. It's been a long time since you were kicked out of our ranks.

Edward (irritated): Quit kissing up, Diesel 10. You know exactly why I left your ranks.

Diesel 10: What I want to know is, why did you steal the pages of the Book?

Edward: I'll die before I tell why I did it.

Diesel 10: Alright. I can arrange that.

(Back at the Island of Sodor, where Gordon has just shown up)

Thomas: Whoa, who are you?

Gordon: My name is Gordon, the Blazing General of Fire, and that's the last name you'll ever hear in your life.

Stay tuned for Act 2: The Transformation!

I went back and rewrote this chapter, since I thought a lot of things could be improved from the first bit. I finally did choose the ending theme, which will be added to each chapter as I go along and rewrite them.

While technically it's supposed to be covering the first season of Nanoha, there are several elements from its second and third seasons that I put in, mainly with Henry, Gordon and James' weapons and fighting styles. Also, Gordon's Device is really called Laevatein (although in Japanese, they pronounce it as Levantine, where I misspelled it) after Norse mythology. To learn more info about the Nanoha series, you can look for its official wiki at .com

Terms and spells in this chapter:

The Dream Dimension: Part of the Dimensional Realm, this is the world where Percy, Edward, James, Henry and Gordon come from.

Mallet: This is James' Armed Device, Graf Eisen.

Guns: These are Henry's Intelligent Device, Cross Mirage.

Protection Smash: This is one of Percy's few offensive spells. He creates a large barrier around him, and rams into his opponent with a flying tackle. It takes a lot of energy to use, so he doesn't use it often.

Tödlicher Schlag (German for Deadly Blow): This is James' standard attack with Graf Eisen. He charges energy into the hammer, and hits his opponent with it.

Swarm of missiles/Red comets: This attack appears in the later chapters as Schwable Fleigen (German for Swallow Flier). James summons four metal spheres and hits them with Graf Eisen, turning them into deadly comets that explode when they hit the target.

Impact Cannon: A speedy bombardment spell, Edward casts this from his knuckle, and punches it at his opponent. While normally used for distraction purposes, it's powerful enough on its own for an attack.

Cross Smasher: This attack allows Edward to quickly counterattack while he's busy with one hand. He throws the attack at his attacker's side, where it comes in contact with them and explodes.

Phantom Blazer: Henry's signature attack. He creates a large bullet of energy and shoots it at his target. While it's extremely powerful, it suffers from a long loading time. If shot before it can finish loading, the attack can hit another person other than its intended target.

Crossfire Shoot: Henry's projectile attack, which earned him his title of Crossfire Count. He summons up to fifteen bullets of energy, and shoots them at his target. Unlike most of his spells, this one is relatively easy to cast.

Blitz Bind: Henry's binding spell which he used to trap Edward. It's weaker than Edward's own binding spell, so it's relatively easy to break out of.

Magical Prison: This is James' anti-magic immobilization binding spell. This one drains the energy of its captives, rendering them unable to move and unable to use magic.

Dimensional Teleport: This is Percy's teleportation spell. It takes nearly all the energy he has in him to move to another location, so you can imagine how this would affect him…

Blitzkrieg: Henry's speed maneuver.

Enjoy this rewrite!
