A/N Just a little heads up, Tadashi is 17 an and Hiro is 8, their age gaps don't completely match that of in the movie but I thought that they were more appropriate for this for some reason... Anyway, here it is!

Disclaimer: I don't own Big Hero 6!

The small, dark room jittered and shook, jolting the sleeping boy from his cabin bed to an abrupt awakening. They were here. He jumped out from under the soft igloo of warmth under the quilt, rubbing his eyes furiously to remove the sleep still lingering there. This was very, very bad; it was far too soon. Roughly, he grabbed the ancient rucksack resting on the wooden side of the bed and threw it onto his shoulder just as the violent vibrations stopped, seemingly almost frozen in time. He had a matter of seconds. As fast as his slender fingers could go, he unclasped the window latch and flung his body out into the cool air of the early morning just as the dark shape appeared in the doorway...

"Tadashi!" I cried in embarrassment as he blabbed on to me about using the bottle of pepper spray in my jacket pocket for protecting myself against wild bears. I wanted a black hole to come swallow me up as I saw the entire student body barely containing their sniggers as they watched on. "This is serious stuff Hiro! I mean, people would think it was ridiculous that you might get seriously injured by a bird, but look what happened to Aunt Cass!" He said sternly. Aunt Cass was attacked by a parrot whilst visiting Kinabalu rainforest, breaking her index finger, you could say she is an accident magnet. She was currently stationed at the Lucky Cat Cafe, being a rush hour, and couldn't take me. Hence the reason I am being attacked by my older brothers over protectiveness. "But that was Aunt Cass Tadashi." I said rolling my eyes, flushing red when I heard the snorts yet again from the crowd behind me, "And plus I am not going to an exotic country ten thousand miles away, I am going to the forest ten minutes away from school to observe wildlife." I told him, pinching the bridge of my nose, briefly imagining the abusing I was going to receive for this. My teacher, Professor Callaghan, came up from behind me and rested his large hands on my shoulders, "Mr Hamada, I ensure you that your Brother will be safe and in the more-than-capable hands of the school." He told him with a warm smile. Professor Callaghan was a tall man with grey hair, ocean blue eyes and a large nose. He was wearing a blue shirt with a green woolen sleeveless jumper. My bother gave me one final worried glance before pulling me into a brief hug, waving and walking back to his moped. A breath of relief was released from my body and I sent my infamous gap toothed grin to my tutor of whom I had found another level of fiery respect for. "Thanks Sir." I said gratefully. He eyed me with a look of amusement before ruffling my black hair and turning away to organize the other pupils. Seriously though, it was a couple of hours in the woods. What did Tadashi think could possibly go wrong?
