The adventure continues
-He is coming! Hide!- I yell.
Everyone does as I say. Matt is behind the T.V.; Joe, Mimi and Izzy are in the kitchen; Sora is behind the couch and T.K. is next to the door. I move in my place in front of the door nervously. Today is Tai´s seventeenth birthday and we are throwing him a surprise party. Yolei, Ken, Davis and Iori will be coming later, I hope.
-It will be alright.- T.K. tells me.
-Yes.- I whisper back.
Soon enough, footsteps are heard. I look at my best friend and he nods reassuringly. Then, we hear the noise of keys outside the apartment and I open widely the door. Tai´s face revels that he is very surprised.
-Happy birthday, brother!- I say as I throw my arms around his neck.
He just laughs and pats me in the head. He hasn't notice the gang at all, I think and at that exact same moment everyone jumps from their hiding places.
-Surprise!
My brother´s eyes are open as plates. Then, they proceed to hug him and congratulate him. I just stand there beaming. When Tai releases Mimi (the last one to hug him, even when she was bickering that she should be the first one after me) a beeping noise makes its presence in the room.
-Whose phone is it?- Tai asks.
We all check for calls, apparently none of our phones is the one ringing. All of our faces have a similar expression.
-Guys?- Now all our eyes are on Izzy.- I don't think that noise is coming from a phone.
T.k. and I exchange glances, he nods and that is all I need to go into my room. I come out of it seconds later with a pink and white device.
-This is what is making the beeping.- I say showing it to them.
We look at each other and then, again the attention is concentrated in my digivice.
