First things first:
I DON'T OWN THE LEGEND OF ZELDA - OCARINA OF TIME! ALL RIGHTS BELONGS TO NINTENDO AND THE CREATORS OF THE GAME!
Man it's been a long time since I have written a The Legend of Zelda Story.
I wanted to write a serious one. Really. I wanted to do that but than i was in a silly mood aaaaaand this is what came out: A silly tickle story.
I got this idea after i finished the forest temple (I am now at the water temple btw *grumble*).
I hope you will enjoy this story and for all people who doesn't know me: English isn't my first language so that is why i apologize for grammer or spelling mistakes.
Please enjoy it! :)
Helpless Hero
"Stop laughing Navi! This isn't funny!"
Link growled like a hungry wolf and squirmed around in his "bonds" as his little fairy Navi couldn't stop her amused and slightly gleeful laughter anymore.
The Hero of Time had entered the Forest Temple together with his friend Navi and it hadn't been long and he had gotten himself into trouble when he had fallen through a hole and had himself tied up in a few tendrils which hung from the ceiling. And it doesn't matter how hard he had tried to free himself, he just couldn't do it. And Navi wasn't a big help for him either.
She just kept laughing at him.
"Come on Navi! We have to finish this mission. I don't want to stay here longer than necessary. Help me out of here!"
The little fairy stopped her laughter and flew over to him where he hung tied up from the ceiling. He couldn't move his legs or his arms and he squirmed around in the hope he could wiggle out of his bonds, but this didn't work either and it wasn't long before he gave up his attempts.
"My, my. So rude," his little fairy teased as she circled him and Link could practically hear the amused grin in her voice and this thought alone made him growl again.
"Stop it Navi! This isn't funny at all! What if an enemy will find me like that? This would be my death!"
"Yeah, but here nobody will hear you and nobody will find you, so don't worry about that. You should worry about something completely else right now."
Link raised an eyebrow at that.
"What do you mean?"
The Hero of Time could almost feel the grin on his body as Navi flew in front of his face and looked at him.
"You have been pretty rude to me lately and I think it is time that I teach you some respect. And this is the perfect opportunity, don't you think?"
"W-what? You can't be serious Navi!"
The fairy didn't answer, but Link could still feel the grin on his body and it made him shiver and he started to struggle in his bonds yet again as his small friend flew over to him.
"And since you act always so grumpy towards me, I think I should cheer you up a bit as well. Sounds like a good plan, don't you think?"
"N-No! No Navi! Stay away from me!"
But Navi didn't listen to him.
She came closer and closer and closer and suddenly…she disappeared inside his green tunic.
A loud and unmanly squeal left the Hero's lips when she started tickling him, brushing her small wings across his skin as flew around inside his tunic, tickling his ribs, his sides, his belly and even under his arms.
"N-no! Nonono N-Nahavi! S-Stohohop thahahat! No tickling! G-Get me…out of hehehere!"
"Nope, not until you stop acting so rude towards me and certainly not before a smile is glued to your grumpy face!"
"I-I am nohohot grumpy!"
"Yes you are~," the little fairy said in a sing-song voice and she kept brushing her wings over his sensitive skin, giggling herself when he heard his laughter rose in pitch when she brushed her wings over a sensitive spot, right beneath his belly button.
"Nohohoho! Nohohot thehehere pleahahahse! AHH! N-Navi! STOP IT!"
"Tickle, tickle, tickle," the little fairy teased and she couldn't stop her own laughter anymore and soon she was laughing along with the Hero of Time who had already tears in his bright blue eyes from laughing way too much.
He struggled and squirmed around in his bonds, kicked his feet as much as he could, tried to free his arms and had his head thrown back, mouth wide open as loud and mirthful laughter poured over his lips.
"Nahahavi pleahahahse!"
"Please what Link?"
"S-Stohohop!"
"Stop what?"
"T-tickling mehehe!"
"Tickle you? If you insist…"
"NO! AHH! PLEASE! NO MORE!"
When she found the little sweet spot behind his ribcage, Link knew he was screwed.
He couldn't take this.
All those years Mido had loved to torment him with endless seeming tickle torture and Link couldn't stand it. He had crumbled under the playful and yet so cruel torture Mido and his friend had inflicted on him.
All those memories went through his head as Navi tickled the living daylight out of him.
He laughed and shrieked and struggled and kicked and begged, but nothing would soften the heart of the small fairy. No. She had way too much fun to stop and it had been way too long since she had heard the Hero of Time laugh so heartily and freely as in this moment.
"NAVI! PLEAHAHAHASE STOHOHOP!"
That was all Link could press out between fits of laughter and when his little friend found another sweet spot his laughter went silent for a moment.
"What is wrong Link? Can't the high and mighty Hero of Time take a little tickling?"
And the teasing made it so much worse and Link thought he would die of laughter.
The tickling, the teasing, it was just too much and yet it was so much fun at the same time.
It just felt good to let go and laugh after so much darkness, so much pain he had to suffer and so many dangerous enemies he had to fight.
In this one little moment of peace he could act like a little kid again…
But slowly the tickling became too much for him and Navi could also feel that.
She giggled as she brushed over his sides, making him squeal absolutely adorably between his laughing fit.
"Do you give up Link?"
Link tried to speak, but he could only laugh.
Tears already streamed down his bright red cheeks and his laughter was so loud that he thought it would echo through the whole temple.
"Y-YES! YEHEHES! I GIVE UHUHUP!" he managed to get out before his laughter went silent yet again and that's when Navi stopped her playful attack and flew out of his tunic.
Again Link could feel her grin on his body, but this time he grinned back at her when he raised his head to look at his fairy. He was exhausted, his belly ached, he had tears of pure mirth in his eyes but he felt good. And when he thought about it: He hadn't had felt this good in a very long time.
"It's good to see you smile again," Navi said and her voice was soft, not gleeful anymore and she sat down on his shoulder and brushed her wing gently over his cheek.
He smiled softly at her and a chuckle left his lips.
"What?" the little fairy asked with amusement in her voice again.
"I think I deserved that…"
Now it was Navi's turn to laugh and it didn't take long before the hero laughed along with her.
"Hey Navi?" he asked after both of them had calmed down.
"Yes Link?"
"How about you help me out of here?"
"Hmm I could do that."
"Great. But please: No tickling this time."
She giggled and brushed her wing teasingly over his neck, making him scrunch his shoulders up and giggle.
"Can't make any promises hero…"
The End
