Liam's POV
It's weird now being a Senior—it feels like yesterday I was just a Freshman, who walked into this school petrified I was going to get beat up like on all those movies. Of course, my freshman year turned out better because I met Caleb and Sophie.
Now I walk in with my girlfriend and I just can't believe this is my last year.
"Can you believe we're seniors now?" Sophie asked me—I mentally laughed because of my previous thought.
"Can you?" I replied and she laughed and I kissed her on the lips—only to be interrupted by Caleb coming in.
"Are you two going to swap spit every time I see you because if so, I might have to reconsider this friendship?" Caleb commented and both Sophie and I rolled our eyes. I then shoved Caleb—he always had his comments about Sophie and I.
We then looked at each other and decided to give Caleb some more viewing time so we kissed again and he made some kind of disturbing sound—we didn't stop until he then threw an empty coffee cup at us.
"Get a room you two!" He yelled and we laughed again. We then walked out to the courtyard—it was really warm out. We saw Jason Smith over by the steps and the three of walked over to him from some reason.
"Hey man." Caleb said and fist bumped him. Jason was one of Caleb's other friends—he wasn't really friends with Sophie or me, but he was alright. I think he had the same opinion of me since he really only hangs around the cool guys that are involved in sports and what not.
"Check out the new kid." Jason said and we saw this guy carrying his book—or at least trying to up the stairs—down below. He definitely was new—strangely he seemed very familiar.
We turned to Jason who had a football in his hands and was watching the new kid. "Jason—what are you doing?" Caleb asked.
"Just wait." Jason replied—I had a feeling of what he was going to do and I didn't like it.
"You're not going to throw that football at him." I said and Jason turned me annoyed, obviously.
"Come on, it'll be funny." He said. I rolled my eyes—they did the same to me when I first moved here, even if my start here over all was good, getting hit in the gut with a football was not the highlight of it. It was probably the set back—I was a laughing stock not to mention it hurt.
"Come on Jason—" Sophie tried.
"Jason, I'm not sure if now is the best time for this." Caleb stated—he didn't like anymore than I did. I then took the football from it and kicked it—probably not a wise idea.
"What the hell?!" Jason yelled.
"Forget it Jason, we can go find the ball." Caleb said.
"Did he have any to begin with?" Sophie questioned and I couldn't help laugh. Caleb took Jason away, but he glared at Sophie and I before leaving. "Well we saved him from getting the jock welcome."
I couldn't help but wonder who this guy was—he seemed so familiar but I didn't know why. I guess I would have to find out later—the bell rang so we had to get going.
I really wanted to write an additional story to the saga so…here it comes! Liam, Sophie, and Caleb are seniors now. There are some new characters. Jason is played by Steven McQueen. So who do you think the mystery guy is & why Liam might know him?
Don't forget to review.
