4.08 Episode Add-on.
When Harvey gets back to his office, the tension in his fists set at not finding Louis. His mind is red rag blind to the situation and he should be telling his partner.
But he doesn't want to go Jessica yet without a plan, without a strategy just yet.
He sinks onto the leather couch, cracking his knuckles as they meet the resistance in the seat cushion.
"Did you find him?"
He looks up to see Donna suspended against the corners of the door frame, looking down at him with that expression of hers that verges on pity. Pity for who he's not entirely sure, but he sure as hell knows it's not directed at him.
He sighs heavily, slumping into the couch. "No. I just…"
"I know." She nods.
He can't even fathom what Louis has done. Or Why, after everything he'd be so…Something in his gut breathes Forstman, eachoed by Mike's shrewd assumptions. He feels a match in the air, the burning desire to take that son-of-a-bitch down once and for all.
"Well. We better get to work." She says, earning his attention as she walks towards his seated form.
He looks up, frowning as his brows knit together. "What are we-didn't you just send Mike home?"
"I did. It's his first day, and something tells me he's going to be seeing Rachel tonight. So, we…are going to find that file."
"We? What about your date?"
"Already rescheduled." She shrugs.
His face falls, the guilt setting in. "Donna, you don't have to do that." He says.
"I know." She smiles, something warm and lavish and igniting a question buried deep down in his reserve. "Now," She says, animatedly. "If Louis buried a document then you can bet your ass that Katrina had a hand in it, and Katrina, despite your opinion of her, is very, very good at her job. And has very much left for the evening. So, we better get on it." She says, quirking an eyebrow.
Despite the anger still coursing through his veins he finds himself smirking slightly, nodding even.
She sachets away from him, and he watches her, her white fishtail dress fluttering behind her. He straightens when she pauses slightly, turning back over her shoulder as her hair falls against her shoulder. "Oh, and…I already ordered. 30 minutes." She says, holding back a smile.
"Shitty Thai place it is," He remarks, following her.
He wants to tell her not to blow her time and her date on this. On him.
But another, growing part of him shuts it down with a quiet acceptance.
Not to have her wasted, though,
But just to have her to himself for a while,
Until the shit really hits the fan.
Just something small and cute to offset the RIFE TENSION of this weeks very satisfactory ep.
Cannot believe this Season. 2 Eps I've liked. 2 EPS! Maybe three…
