Notes: Been a while, huh? I wrote this one a couple of months back, but was unsure about sharing it. Oh well, if you like it you do, if you don't you don't. This does contain some slight shounen-ai between Natsuki and Sho. Enjoy!

"Hey, Natsuki?"

The seven-year-old stirred slightly and turned to the smaller blond. "Sho-chan? What is it?"

"I had a bad dream. Can I sleep with you tonight?"

"Sure." He shifted over so there would be enough room.

Sho climbed into the bed, making sure there was still enough of a gap between them. "Thanks."

"It's okay. Good night, Sho-chan."

"Good night." With a big yawn, the five-year-old closed his eyes and returned to the land of slumber.

The taller boy smiled gently before wrapping his arms around the smaller child's shoulders. He too closed his eyes and soon found himself back in the land of dreams.

It was Natsuki's first sleepover at Sho's house. He was glad he could have a sleepover, but there was something wrong.

Sho heard the shuffling coming from the third bed in the room. He knew Kaoru was fast asleep, so that had to be his friend. "What is it, Natsuki?"

"I...I'm afraid of the dark, Sho-chan..."

"But, you're usually alright at your house..."

"Because I know no monsters can get me there. But, I'm scared here."

"Want to sleep with me tonight? I can protect you from the scary monsters if any come here."

"Okay." He carefully made his way through the room and clambered into Sho's bed.

"Now, go to sleep, we have a big day tomorrow."

"Okay. Good night, Sho-chan."

"Good night, Natsuki." He felt Natsuki wrap his arm around his shoulders, but he paid it no mind. If it helped make the older boy feel better, he could put up with it.

All three boys in that room slept peacefully.

It was their first night in the dorm room of their new school Saotome Gakuen. They'd already fixed everything up, all of their belongings filled the room. They just had to go to bed and rest up for the next day. They had their beds on one side of the room each. "Alright. Good night, Natsuki," Sho yawned as he turned off his lamp and shuffled under the covers.

Natsuki was holding one of his plush animals, but he still felt unsure about the new place. "Sho-chan?" No response. "Sho-chan?"

"Oh, what is it? I wanna sleep..." Sho mumbled.

"I don't think I will be able to sleep tonight. Can I sleep with you?"

"We're not little kids anymore, Natsuki, we can't keep doing this..."

"But, Sho-chan, I'm..."

"You're still scared of the dark, right?"

The spectacled teen nodded. "I would keep my lamp on, but it's too bright."

"Alright. But, just for tonight, got it?"

"Understood." He rapidly crossed from his side of the room over to Sho's and slipped into the bed. "Thank you, Sho-chan."

"Yeah yeah. Just go to sleep already." He let out another yawn. "Good night, Natsuki."

"Good night, Sho-chan." He did as he always had whenever he shared the bed with Sho. He wrapped an arm around the smaller teenager's shoulders.

Sho mentally sighed. He's gotta grow out of this habit...

They were a couple, and so they continued sharing the bed every night. They shared a chaste kiss and whispered good night before they rested their heads on their pillows and closed their eyes.

For once, Sho welcomed Natsuki's arm around his shoulders, and let him know that by wrapping an arm around the taller male's waist.
