Brand New Eyes
"Eh, I guess they look alright." Leanne sighed, examining herself in the mirror, the black circular frames standing out against her blue eyes. "If only I just needed them for reading."
"Hey Leanne Let's go! Vashyrom says we have a job. Whatcha doing?" Zephyr inquired innocently standing in the doorway.
"Alright I'll be right there. And nothing Zephyr, get out of my room!" Leanne snapped turning to face him.
The redheaded boy didn't even flinch at the blonde's outburst, his blue eyes hidden behind his Boss sunglasses. A moment later he propped them up on the top of his head so he could see her better.
"New glasses huh? They look good."
"Oh shut up." Leanne scoffed.
"I'm serious. They suit you. Now c'mon let me see 'em."
"Thanks. And no, c'mon Zephyr, give them back!" Leanne sighed, as he swiped them off her in one swift movement and put them on.
"There we go. How do I look?" He asked, smiling mischievously.
"Ridiculous. Now give them back. Seriously Zephyr, I need those!"
"Alright fine, here." Zephyr sighed handing them back.
Sighing exasperatedly Leanne put them back on.
"Now let's go." Zephyr added, preparing to head out, but not before stealing a kiss.
Flushing scarlet Leanne followed him out of her room and in turn out of the house.
