Chapter 1: A Blazing start.

A/N: Ok first off I do not own Pokémon. This is my first story so please no flames until somewhere around the 3rd chapter so i get the hang of this somewhat. Anyway I think I'm boring you so ON WITH DA STORY. (Accepting original characters)

"Thwack". A sound was heard throughout the forest as a young Pokémon trainer woke up from his dream. "Matt! Wake. UP! We need to get a move on the next town is behind that mountain!"

"AMBER! *groan* why'd you have to hit me with a plank. You could've just thrown water at me." Relied a drowsy Matthew. He got up to start packing up his tent when suddenly a water gun caught him in the side of the head. "OK!" grinned amber accompanied by a joyful snicker.

It'd been two hours since matt and amber had began to get a move on, and faced the challenge of climbing the mountain before them. "*sigh* we *pant* made *pant* it..." said amber. "yeah Let's Do That AGAIN!" Replied a sarcastic Matthew. Amber then turned around and bitch-slapped matt across the face. "Never Again!" She yelled in his face.

Soon later they arrived at the Pokémon centre and handed their tired Pokémon to nurse joy and left for the seats around the room. Amber then started up a chat. "Matt aren't you tired of training/battling with the same old Pokémon all the time." Matt replied "not really I think it's cool to have 1 set team so that you can easily keep track of training techniques and never run out of practice." "Yeah but don't you think your battle style will become predictable." She queered "Nope! I will always come up with a new combo or skill set so i don't really need to worry about that, i have full confidence in my techniques." He assertively replied. " oh well that's your problem not mine so i guess it's none of my business." She admitted.

After a few minutes of reading magazines and thinking of strategies for gym battles, a bell was heard and nurse joy came out with both amber and matts Pokémon.

After a quick roll call the team set out and arrived at the gym. Only something was missing.

"WHERE'S THE DOOR!"

A/N sorry for the shortness of the chapter but I'm trying to fit this into 3 hour periods to write one chapter. The Pokémon teams are these"

Amber: Squirtle Weedle and Bellsprout

Matt: Bulbasaur Umbreon and Evee
