Rain
The rain was pouring down on the roof, calming Max down. They were finally settled in a house with so many balconies that it was cold during the summer. Her thoughts flashed back to Fang he had kissed her on a day just like this. Only they were younger…..
FLASBACK…
Max was calming down after the fight with Iggy, who totally got his butt kicked. Nine year old Fang was watching Max and noticed how peaceful she was looking. For once her eyebrows weren't squinted they were smooth and free of any. Fang realized just how pretty max was. Almost as if she sensed him Max turned around, raised an eyebrow and pointed to the door. Knowing what she was saying he followed her t there. Not even noticing how his hand came up to the small of her back.
Even though Fang had no idea Max did but didn't feel uncomfortable, but felt safe and protected. Just then Max remembered something… Near a hill was a swing that Max usually went to when it was raining. Taking Fangs hand Max scurried up the small mountain. Sitting down on the swing Fang pushed Max in to the air taking her higher and higher each time.
Fang loved Max's laugh but to know that he did it made it all the more special. Nobody could know this but he loved Max more than a sister. The way her smile took his breath to those chocolate brown eyes he loved every inch of her.
Unbeknown to all of them there was a little mind reading girl was watching.
Not knowing what he was doing but going on instincts Fang started to slow down the swing and spun Max around. She was surprised more than confused. Taking her hand Fang grabbed Max's cheek and kissed her on the lips.
Max's mind went completely blank after that just feeling fangs lips and the rain on her skin. His lips wee soft and moist but soon enough they had to breathe. They both cursed at the need to breathe oxygen but couldn't help but smile. Walking back hand and hand they didn't notice the little blonde haired devil feeling quite proud of herself.
END OF FLASBACK
Just like that day Max was outside on the same exact swing. Coming from behind her was Fang who gently turned Max around and looked into the eyes he had fallen in love with. And just like the day they were nine they shared a kiss in the rain.
They held the kiss for a very long time feeling safe with one another. BOOM! They looked at the sky and lightning strike. They both ran off just like the same day saying nothing just bonding and being together.
I guess you can at least say that the rain calms people down and finds true love…
