So I got the idea for this story right the crap out of nowhere. (Starting right after watching Tarzan of course.) But the idea would not leave me alone. Soooo... I'm writing it out in hopes that my brain can finally move on.
In an Alternate Universe...
The first thing that broke through the clouds of unconsciousness, was the headache she had. The second was the numbness in her hands. Trying to reposition them proved to be impossible, though the fingers started to tingle as the blood started to flow again.
Okaaay... where am I? First coherent thought. Tried to reach up to brush a stray lock of hair from her eyes. Still couldn't do it. Realization hit and eyes snapped open. My hands are... tied? Yes. Why?
Sitting up only caused more hair to fall, blocking much of the view of her surroundings. She shook her head, hair flying but vision clearing. I'm in my tent. She realized. The last thing she could remember...
The entire day, up until an elephant crashed onto the ship. They were free. They were going to stop Clayton. Nothing after that. Her brain throbbed from being used. Someone walked in the tent. Eyes snapped open. Took a moment to focus.
"Clayton." She realised. "What have you done? Untie me!"
"I can't do that." He said reaching at her head with a wet cloth. "What do you remember?"
Her temple flaired up in protest. "We were coming to stop you. What happened to my head?"
"You don't remember anything after that?' He asked.
"Riding through the jungle, and then it's just blank. What happened to everyone? Where is Tarzan? Where is my father?"
He rolled his eyes. "The ape-man disappeared over a waterfall." He sneered. "Your father was last seen riding off on the back of an elephant."
She remembered jumping off the elephant to save the gorilla Tarzan had said was his mother. Tarzan appeared with a crowbar and they opened the cage, Clayton shooting Tarzan, then Kerchak, then... another blank.
"Did you kill him?" Glaring at him now.
"If I didn't then the fall should have." He said absentmindedly, ignoring her glare.
She moved away from him. She thought she hated him before. "You're a monster." she said through gritted teeth.
He only laughed at this. "The real monsters will be on a ship with us to England in a few hours."
"What do you plan to do with me?"
"That all depends on you." He smiled. "If you are good and you cooperate, we'll take you back to England."
"My dad?"
"If he shows up before we leave, he's more than welcome to come home. I don't see that happening though." He said, standing up again and heading out of the tent.
"What if I don't cooperate?" eyeing the knife at his belt.
He turned with another smile on his face. "People get lost in the jungle all the time!"
A.N.: I wrote this for two reasons. 1) as stated at the top. and 2) because now whenever someone searches my name on it will come up as
Toboelily :3
Haha! See what I did there? Nvm. Okay anyways. This is only supposed to be a short one-shot. You tell me if you want more for some reason.
