Okay, this was written because my stress level has hit an all-time high, I NEED the humor, and Saishi put the stupid idea in my head! (Well, Miko did first, but Saishi helped flesh it out.) It's another crossover with ElfQuest, and this one isn't nearly so self-explanatory, so bear with me. I have no idea HOW many parts there are gonna be to this, but I'll probably keep writing it until I can manage to bring my stress down.

That should be all! Enjoy, please.
When Stress Becomes Too Much
(written because Saishi made me!)
Part One - Trowa
by: Yuuki Miyaka
Trowa had no idea how he'd ended up in this forest. One minute he'd been a drinking game based on Fushigi Yuugi fanfiction. The next, he'd awakened here, with a MONSTER hangover. Finding a creek nearby, he stripped, bathing and drinking until he felt more like a normal human again, then sun-dried before clothing himself again and trying to find his way out and back to the safehouse.
As he walked along, he was suddenly surprised by a arrow landing directly in front of him. He froze, the calm that he used whenever Catherine was throwing knives at him descending now, leaving him cool and collected as he looked around, emerald eyes searching the trees above. He was just about to give up when a young boy with a bow nearly as long as he was landed on the ground just behind the arrow, staring at Trowa through eyes the color of his auburn hair.
On second look, Trowa realized that he wasn't a boy, but instead a man. A man with four fingers on each hand and VERY pointed ears. Stunned, Trowa said the only thing he could think of.
"..."
The elf's eyes widened, and he nodded once. Trowa relaxed, calming slightly as he realized he had questions galore for this elf. But only one mattered.
"..."
Auburn eyes searched a single visible green one before the elf responded.
"..."
His voice was rusty as though he hadn't spoken in years, but Trowa could make out what he said easily. He nodded. Strongbow, hmm? An unusual name, but no stranger than his own. The rest of the conversation they shared was similar, and finally Strongbow showed Trowa the way out of the forest and back to civilization with a final, "..." Trowa agreed, leaving easily.
"Well, Strongbow, what is it? You said you met a human? Where are the pieces?" Cutter's amused voice cut through the forest as he spoke to the aloof and taciturn hunter before him.
::...::
"You let him live? For you, that's a miracle!"
::...::
"You even spoke to him?!"
::...::
"I see . . . If he's so much like you, then I imagine the conversation was very . . ." At the last minute, Cutter changed his mind about what he would say. His first thought had been FAR too inflammatory for Strongbow's hot temper. "Quiet. Keep up the good work."
::...::
As Cutter was walking away, he tossed back over his shoulder in an amused tone, "I heard that, Strongbow!"
