I would like to mention that Inuyasha and all other related characters belong to me. Sayuri and the other are, however, mine.
This fanfic is a continuation of INUYASHA so if you don't know about it this will be very confusing for you. Also if you have not completed watching the final act you wont understand.
My BFF and I where goofing of in the 6th grade one day. We had nothing to do (despite it being class time...) and out of my boredom I asked my friend, "what if Inuyasha just burst in and took us to the feudal era?" No this is NOT a spoiler. This doesn't happen, but that's how we came up with Sayuri...
CHAPTER 1: wordless riddles
"Are you awake, No, I mean asleep." Some one roused a demon from her dream-sleep. "It's not nice to." She yawned "wake some one when there sleeping." The black-cloaked figure stood in front of her. "Well you didn't actually wake up, you're dreaming." He seemed more rushed than usual "Time is running short, I need to deliver a message to you." The female demon was standing now, rubbing eyes "Yeah? What is it?" He looked straight into her eyes. "Go back to the forest that of witch you came..." He faded like dust as a frosty swirl of wind passed by.
The demon woke with a start...
Somewhere far off:
"Aww, come on! Did some one cut off your feet or something? You're going so slow!" Inuyasha was complaining about Shippo's lack of speed. "INUYAHSA! Could you stop complaining for a bit? I'm running as fast as I can!" Shippo yelled to Inuyasha a couple feet ahead with Kagome "You guys are bigger and faster than I am!"
"You know Inuyasha." Kagome said, "He is right. We walk faster than he does. We should slow down for him."
"Fine." Inuyasha grumbled. He obviously didn't like the thought of having to slow down his walking. Shippo had just caught up gasping. They continued down the path towards Kaede's village. Seconds after they arrived a stranger ran into the village from there left. "Lady Kaede! Lady Kaede!" He screamed. He ran up to Lady Kaede and almost literally tripped at her feet. He bowed on the ground. "Lady Kaede!" he said with relief, "I am so glad I found you!"
"What is it that thee wants?" she asked. "We have received a message from the far of towns and have important news to bring!" He said holding out a rolled up scroll. Lady Kaede picked it up. "Who is it for?"
"Master Inuyasha!"
"And what does it say?" Kaede looked at the still rolled scroll.
"Demons have came down from the northern mountains and are looking for him."
