Author's Notes: I'm O+. Anddd, first OHC fic of mine, ever. Eep! Sorry if they seem OOC. And I know that generally guests pay 30,000 yen to attend a wedding -- but let's say that only Ranka and Yuzuru went...that'd only be 60,000 yen. Which I'm sure they'd need for the house, now that Tamaki's been cut off, right:D This is for the LJ community - fanfic100.

With the rising of the sun came her heavy heart and a sense of dread. She would have to face him.

Yellow latex gloves protecting his hands, he turned on the warm water and began to wash the dishes. I'm doing dishes. At the thought of that, a prevalent grin spread across his face. Hee, imagine me, Tamaki, doing the dishes like a commoner! His smile quickly slid off. Because I am one, now. He'd given up so many things for her. To be with her. I shall master the ways of the commoner! For my princess... A small knock on the wall behind the man caused him to jump and his thoughts scatter. Oi.

"Tamaki?" Her voice was small. Water off, plates down. He turned around to face her, his blond waves soaring in all directions. Eagerly, eyes bouncing in the incandescent light, he closed in on her. "Tamaki." Barely, he could make out the word she had whispered.

"Yes, my love?" He crooned.

"Why...why give up all of everything...for me?" His eyes opened wide in shock, his jaw open ajar. How could you...ask me a question like that?

"Haruhi." His voice was hard to hide the quaver. "Haruhi," he began again, gentler. "Because...I love you. Is that not enough? You question my love for you?" Making a production out of things, he extravagantly peeled away the gloves that were still shielding his magic-makers and threw them down. Exposing his ring finger to her, he waved his wedding ring in front of her eyes.

"But you... Won't you hate never being able to do all of the lavish things you'd want to do? I mean, we didn't even get to go on a honeymoon or have the wedding anywhere spectacular. What about the things we talked of not so long ago? How we needed a year to plan out perfect wedding in Hawaii. You don't mind..."

"No. I don't mind giving it all up for you. For us." He scooched closer and pick up her dainty left hand. Haruhi's ring was below par, definitely below par, compared to the way Tamaki used to live. But it was beautiful, nevertheless. His lips drifted above the ring, centimeters away. Instead of kissing his wife's ring, he scooped her up, bodies meshing together. "Now, how should we spend our first day as Mr. and Mrs. Suoh?" Her mouth, tantalizingly close to his, turned upright into a smile.

"Tamaki," she airily sounded.

"Yes, my dear?" His eyelids began to droop and a buzzing filled his ears as he stepped over the discarded gloves and carried her to their couch. Carefully, he placed her down and a rosebush grazed his cheeks.

"I'd like to keep my last name." Things were going to be fine.
