I haven't posted in ages! This is just a really random one shot that i made up after re watching some of the sam and dylan clips on youtube. Hope you enjoy it :) x
Sam didn't call the divorce lawyer but instead made her way to the staff room knowing Dylan finished his shift in half an hour. She spent her time on sat on the sofa fiddling with her phone looking up to the door every time it opened, finally Dylan walked in and looked over to her, "I thought you went home" he stated.
"Didn't feel like it" she muttered loud enough for him to hear.
"David's father rang, he's coming in later" he told her whilst sitting down next to her.
"I spoke to him" she said looking up, "he was with friends. How when someone dies can you be so obvious to it?" She asked with tears glazing her eyes,
"Oh Sam" Dylan muttered standing up and pulling her into his arms.
"As we said earlier, we both knew it was almost bound to happen but we had I take the risk" he felt her nod in the crook of his neck.
"I'm sorry" she whispered,
"About what? You didn't nothing wrong" he replied pressing a kiss to her head,
"Everything, I needed you so much but couldn't have you because of my own stupid actions. Because I buggered of to Afghanistan when things got hard and just left you here wondering if I was ever going to come back." She told him pulling her face back to look at his whilst some tears rolled down her cheeks. He gently wiped them with his thumb,
"It was my fault to. You can't blame yourself for everything sam. I should've fought for you rather than agree it was for the best." The staff room door opened and Zoe was about to walk in until she saw the sight of them then deciding they needed this. Sam looked up and de tangled herself from Dylan when she heard the door close.
"Sorry" she muttered and went to walk away but Dylan grabbed her hand.
"Samantha" he spoke in a soft but firm voice, "come home with me tonight, you can stay in the spare room. In sure dervla would be pleased to see you. I might even be willing to let her sleep with you" he chuckled then spoke more seriously "I don't want you on your own tonight".
