Just Six Days Left: As told by Roxas
Just 6 more days I thought as I kept looking at the clock, hoping that it would just hurry and reach 3:15; sadly, it was only 12:15pm. Just 2 hours and 40min left to go. I began to slouch in my seat and started to scribble in my notebook, in hopes of drowning out the monotonous voice of my history teacher.
The bell ran. I looked at my watch again only to find that it was the bell for B-lunch. Damn it! Why did I have to get into a class where we take the last lunch of the day?! At 1:15! About 70 of the time, the food is either horrible (i.e: mushy, discolored, funny taste) or there is a lack of sufficient "leftovers".
I continued to drown out that dull, annoying sound that leaves me lethargic. The way she elongates her words make them linger around longer than they have to as she talks slowly. I looked behind me and saw that the majority of my classmates were doing the one of the following: (1) sleeping, (2) texting, or (3) just scribbling in their notebooks like I am.
Olette isn't here today. She never...well not never, but rarely misses class. She must have known that today was going to be exceptionally boring. All I hear is Mexico, Iran, and political culture. With only 6 days left until I leave this school forever, who really cares about work anymore? I continued to write down key point just so I would -- Wait...hold on.
30 seconds later
She had just asked me the most easiest question and I wasn't even engaged in the discussion. I looked out of the window and saw a bird perched on the window seal. How I wish I could be free right about now.
It was 12:45.
I banged my head into my books...
