"Don't worry, I will."
"Promise?"

Turning the Oathkeeper Keyblade over in his hands, Sora thought back to the conversation he had had with Kairi in the Secret Passage. He sat alone in a corner of the Accessory Shop; Donald and Goofy entertaining the Moogles while Sora was left alone with his thoughts.
"… be sure to bring it back to me." Kairi's voice ran rampant through Sora's mind as he worried. The Heartless had gotten stronger, that was obvious. It was now possible that the trio had to abandon a fight before it was finished, due to lack of supplies, or just lack of energy. Fighting was a constant, like Kairi and Riku used to be.
Chewing his lip, Sora thought about the journey ahead, and how difficult it would be to return to Bastion Hollow. How difficult it would be to leave Kairi again, even though they were never really apart.
"Sora?" Goofy's voice broke through his trance, and Sora shook his head, looking up at his newfound friends. "The Moogles say Cid has finished upgrading the Gummi Ship; it's time to go." Sora nodded and stood, holding the Oathkeeper close to his side.
"It's time to go," he repeated, "and I have to keep the oath I made to Kairi. When we come back, I'll have both her lucky keychain and Riku; the Keyblade will make sure of that."
