A/N: I know it's kind of awful and really short but all my good fics were deleted.
Spending the holidays at camp was like snow on Thanksgiving in Georgia, just plain weird. Children of Greek gods seem like they shouldn't celebrate Christmas, and yet, once again, I could myself in the hay loft of the Pegasus stable wrapping my brother, Will, present, the Guardians of the Galaxy soundtrack.
Every year, the Apollo cabin (and the rest of camp) has a gift exchange that Will and I rig so we won't have to think about what presents we give. Each Christmas, it's guaranteed that I will get a new book and Will shall get music. And every year I procrastinated on wrapping his gift to the point that I was late to the exchange 98% of the time.
I put the final layer of paper on his present and sprinted back to the super-crowded cabin as fast I could, arriving only 2 minutes late. It was Austin's turn to give out the gifts this year. He handed Lux and Kayla, our youngest siblings, their presents first. After the gifts were handed out, we opened them. Mine was a brand new copy of Unbroken that the Stoll brothers probably smuggled into camp.
Once the sun had set, we went outside and walked around camp, caroling. After almost getting killed by the Ares cabin when we sang Jingle Bells at the top of our lungs, we went back to our cabin and attempted to make Lux and Kayla go to bed.
"But I'm 8 now," Kayla protested. "I should stay up late with you guys."
Lux nodded and the argument was over. We all loved our youngest siblings so much it was hard to deny them something as small as a candy bar.
