Alice's POV
It happened in a flash. I was crossing the road to go buy more ribbon (I'm a fashion designer) when my stocking got caught on a sharp rock. Damn these thick stockings! why must it be winter?!
Suddenly a dark colored carridge came up by the road, sped up to a point where it wouldn't be able to stop! I braced for impact, ready for whatever fate would arise. I suppose a woman saw me because I was abruptly pushed from the spot by a figure in a dress and cloak, however, my foot had stayed stuck.
the woman took most of the blow.

I am laying here in the hospital by the woman. My ankle has been crushed but the woman suffered much more. Both legs broken, plus one arm however she continued to look rather pretty and flirty with the nurses (apparently gender held no place in her obviously small yet dangerously brave for saving me mind) All i know now is that i am to be getting back to work as soon as possible. I can't keep the high in fashion waiting for to long.
