"Prussia will fall." Kelly told me the fact first before it happened. Yet unable to understand how such a thing was even possible. Big brother was, he was a star. Radiant and relentless in his glow. he shinned at the foot of heaven, grinning with a chuckle after every conquest. he lit up the night. He was everything i could never even begin to dream of becoming, yet simplistic and in all he did. A light in vapid darkness, he was a star.
But after the last battle, he slinked home, his head held low. Barley noticing me as he put his sword in a box, and locked it; never was it opened again. "You know kid," he finally said to me, after slouching down to lower his forehead on to his knees. "this isn't over. I'll lay low for a while, but you can't stop me. My nation, it will rise again! just you wait and see. I'll never give in, never give up." he raised his head to grin at me. looking into the distance, he whispered, "I'm to awesome for that..."
And over the years, the charred cinders of star dust that were left in his wake, never did burn out. the embers of his legacy still burn contently to this very day, giving hope to the fulfillment of his testimony from so long ago.
"Time," he drunkenly told me once, "is a paradox that erodes m-many things away. But it will *hic* never take my resolve, west. I hope you remember w-what i told you all those years ago, because it will forever hold true! in the *hic* awesome n-name of Pr-Prussia!" then he passed out.
Everyone else wrote it off as another crazy antic by a intoxicated ex-nation. but to me, it was a brilliant glimmer of light that alluded to the brilliant shine this star had before it fell. And the words that still, and forever will, holds true.
Biey~ the end.
