Loving Samantha: Awkwardness

Drabble

It was all weird now. Awkward, you could say. When Dean Winchester had kissed his sister, she had just pulled away from him, shocked. Immediately, he knew what he had to do. Dean had gotten up, grabbed the keys to his Impala, and then left, saying, "I...I need to go...to do...something." That was just a real clever thing to say, wasn't it? Dean had thought sarcastically to himself when he had gotten into the Impala, leaving behind Samantha Winchester in the motel, God knows what going on in her mind, but all Dean knew was that she didn't feel the same way. She didn't, and Dean was so stupid that he actually kissed her!

For two weeks, all Dean and Samantha did was ignore each other, but it was all in vain. They go all over the country together, hunting down the supernatural...together. There was no way they could ignore one another when they had to hunt together. So, they decided to just keep their minds only on hunting, not talking to each other for any other purposes. But that never stopped Dean from beating himself up in his mind until he was too exhausted and tired to do that anymore. All he could think about was the kiss and how stupid he had been to even think Samantha, his sister, felt anything for him like he did.

Although, he still couldn't stop thinking about how good the kiss had been, how right the kiss had been. Aren't chicks supposed to be all lovey-dovey and mushy like this, not dudes? Then why was Dean even thinking like this, then? There was something messed up in his mind, something that Samantha had done to him. So, now that he knew Samantha didn't like him like that, all he could do was protect her and watch over her like he had planned to do when Samantha had been hurt. But how was Dean supposed to do that when he loved her?

And how could Dean protect her and watch over her when everything was so...awkward?

Silent Knight: Ah oh, Dean loves Samantha! But, gasp! It seems like she doesn't like him back! What will happen now, ladies and - probably not - gents? Well, you'll just have to find out in my next "Loving Samantha"!
