Tsubaki, Black Star, Kid, Liz, and her sister Patty all came over to me and Maka's place to hang out, relax, and celebrate our success on our last mission and Maka finally getting her 3 star scythe meister rank. We were all grown up now and id started to realize that Maka, especially, had grown into quite the attractive young woman over the years. I had started to develop feelings for her but I've been too much of an uncool coward to tell her so I schemed up a plan with Black Star for tonight…
"Who wants to play truth or dare?" Black Star asks out loud.
"Oooooh me!" Liz and Patty called out.
Everyone agreed except for Maka who was out numbered 1 to 6.
"Alright I'm going first cuz God always goes first!" Black Star beamed, "Maka! I dare you to play the pocky game with Soul! Ha ha ha ha ha!" he finished with a rather unnecessary and annoying laugh.
"Why me?" Maka retorted.
"Because I dared you to" was his simple response.
I went over to the couch, pulling out a pocky that I just so happened to have out of my pocket and handed it to her with a smirk on my face, exposing my shark like teeth.
She surprised me. I thought for sure she would put up a fight but continued instead with placing one side of the pocky in her mouth while leaning closer in towards me.
So I then proceeded to take my end and if I wasn't crazy, I'd have thought for sure that she was just as eager to get to the other end as I was. Though when that time came, the tip of her lips barely brushed against mine before she was already moving down to the opposite end of the couch as far away as she could get from me.
I caught the smirk and flushed cheeks of hers though before she put her hands in her lap and stared down at them while biting her lip for the rest of the night.
