"Se-"
I could hear her breathing becoming harsh and I knew she was struggling to say something more.
"Its your life, live it"
Her hand then slid from around my neck and I heard her drop possibly dead to the floor. I reached out to her but I felt a hand on my shoulder.
And for that moment I felt, for once in my life, that everything was going to be okay.

I woke up gasping for air and sweating very heavily from that nightmare I just had woken up from. It was not yet daylight and after checking the time on my phone, I nearly screamed in my pillow knowing it was just half past two. In fifteen hours and thirty minutes, I would be walking down the aisle to my future husband.
I got up out of bed knowing it would take me a while for me to actually fall asleep and silently strode my way past the servants quarters, and tiptoeing down the stairs to the kitchen. This brought back memories as a child when I used to have trouble sleeping and my mom always use to bring me down to the kitchen for a late night snack. But as time changed, I grew old enough to find my way alone and my mother well didnt have enough time for me or my needs.
I didnt bother turning on the lights because the moon illuminated the entire kitchen making it not that hard to see. I opened the fridge door taking the food I was supposed to eat for diner yesterday and heated it up in the microwave.
I sat down at the table waiting when I heard something. I snapped my head around surveying the room.
"Whos there?" I said; a whisper in my voice.
I thought I had saw something move, hiding itself in the shadows. Terror filled me as I remembered two nights ago when someone had gotten in and tried to burn down the palace.
"Mom? Chelsi?" I asked able to build courage in my voice.
The beep from the microwave alerted me that my food was finished and I got up and took it. But as I turned around , I lost all feeling in my hand and the plate crashed to the floor. The fear that was gone for a while came back as I stared into two dark brown eyes. I almost emitted a scream but he was fast, covering his hand over my mouth and imprisoning my body in his.
But no matter how I knew that he was stronger, I still gave him a fight; kicking and shoving, trying to get free. But he would not budge, and tears filled my eyes.
"Everything will be alright if you just trust me" said a familiar voice and he loosened his grip and I dropped to the ground on the broken glass.
I felt his arms around me again, lifting me up and back in his arms. I took this as an opportunity to get away, stomping on his foot and trying to knee him in his crotch but his hand stopped it. He grabbed one of my hands before I could get away and yanked me to him.
"Trust me"
