Hilary couldn't believe she was here, at his school. Sure, they were friends and all, but she never imagined she'd actually be at his school, Whitney Prep.

The whole thing started when she complained that she had no one to hang out with on her day off from school, and him, being her good friend, volunteered to ditch school before lunch and spend the rest of the day with her.

Surprised and a bit concerned by his eagerness to skip, she was hesitant at first. Sure, she'd love to spend the day hanging out with one of her best friends, but he could get in trouble for skipping, or worse, he could get suspended!

After having thought of the consequences thoroughly, she proceeded to tell him that she wouldn't let him get in trouble because of her but his simple reply was, "I was going to skip anyway. At least this way, I'll have a good excuse."

Still unsure, she'd argued with him a bit more on the subject before giving in. To anyone who knew him, it was obvious that when he got that look in his eyes, the stubborn look, there was nothing you could say or do to stop him from doing what he wanted.

So here they were now, on the next day, heading to his locker.

He'd caught someone trying to make a pass at her and gave the guy a death glare before continuing on his way through the halls.

She frantically tried to catch up to him, not wanting to be left alone with the now growing crowd of boys. Honestly, it was very frightening to see them circle and group around her like a pack of wolves moving around their prey, an almost vicious look in their eyes. Of course there wasn't much to worry about; after all, Kai would protect her if someone even so much as laid a finger on her, but there was something extremely uncomfortable about not walking right by his side in the all boys school.

Throughout the time she was visiting the school, more guys kept coming up to her, flirting, and it made her slightly nervous. She didn't think much of it though, just stupid teenage hormones combined with the fact that they didn't usually get to see a girl during school hours, until one of the guy's passing in the halls turned around and slapped her ass.

Faster than you could turn your head, said guy was on the floor holding his now bleeding nose. Hilary looked up into the eyes of his attacker and was oh so delighted to see that it was him. He actually saved me, she thought happily. It had barely sunk into her mind that he'd actually knocked someone out because the guy was hitting on her, before the principal of the school came out.

"What's the meaning of all this ruckus?" the old man asked, obviously peeved.

"He started it! He just punched me!" the offender, lying on the floor holding his bleeding nose, yelled.

The principal turned to look at whom the boy was pointing to. "Is this true, young man?" he asked sternly.

Kai shrugged his shoulders before replying, "He deserved it."

"In my office, now!"

He trudged along, following the old man with a passive, uncaring expression.

One hour and much yelling later, he emerged from the office, and walked over to where Hilary was on the bench waiting for him.

"Oh my gosh, Kai! I heard about it! I'm so sorry! I got you expelled!" she cried apologetically, and ran over to him.

"No need to be sorry; green was never really my color anyway," he told her with a small smile, before removing the green school blazer and depositing it in the nearest trash bin.
