It was the worst night I had ever had. My eyes were heavy from not getting enough sleep last night because no matter how I tried to relax, Nicks angered face would appear in my mind. I could feel it, he was after me. Doing whatever he can to repay me for what I did last night. And knowing Nick he was never going to let it go.
It was the shouting from right outside my door and the crash of something against the ground that made me wake up. I could hear my dad's voice trying to calm Nick down but it seemed like it didn't work. I carefully slid myself in the wheel chair and peeked through my bedroom door. He was hyper venting; his face was red, exactly how he would look when he was angry. His face suddenly turned toward me and he shouted,
"They cant guard you forever. There will be a time when you'll be all alone and I will hurt you in the most possible way you would have ever imagined!" he said and then left slamming the door behind him.
"Do you think he meant it when he said he was going to hurt Joe?" I heard Frankie ask and Kevin shush him. My dad helped my mom get up from off the floor who was crying hysterically. He then took her upstairs. Kevin then began to clean up the broken pieces of glass that were on the floor and Frankie helped him. My mind kept on repeating the words Nick had said,
"I will hurt you in the most possible way you would have ever imagined!"
'How could he hurt me in the most possible way I could imagine?' I thought to myself.
It was late in the night about eight, when I was in my room looking through my songs. I skipped to a new page and began writing,
"They come and go,
But they don't know,
That you are my beautiful."
Just then the light in my room turned off and I was left staring at the three lines in the dark. I could hear Kevin and Frankie grumble something about the light being cut off. I slid myself in my wheel chair and wheeled myself over to their room which was next door. There was another voice, feminine, one which I could not recognize.
"Come on and stop being babies. There are a lot of fun things we can do in the dark"
"Hey Dani, maybe we could give Joe his late Halloween present"said Frankie.
"No, leave Joe alone. He has had enough for a day." Replied Kevin.
I decided to leave them alone and head back to my room. As I turned around , the light in the hall switched on and the televisions volume blasted high.
"Looks like someone's out to get princess; sources say an intruder set blaze in the kitchen hoping to burn down the mansion"
