Feelings
Shinju: now my friends, my first KaguraSesshomaru fan-fic!
Sango: No Kurama?
Shinju: In good time my friend.
Sango: ShinjuJaganshi does not own the Avril Lavigne song, or Inu-Yasha.
Shinju: So no law-suits.
Na na, na na na, na na,
Sesshomaru stands in front of his creation, in the center of Kagura's field. She would have liked this. As usual, he showed no emotion, but now it was harder than before.
I miss you, miss you so bad,
I don't forget you,
Oh it's so sad,
Oh...
She was beautiful. It filled her scent, along with the fresh scent of the wind. She was the wind, in a sense. Her flowing movements, her quick smile, her scent. Now she was the wind.
I hope you can hear me,
'Cause I remember it clearly,
The day, you, slipped away,
Was the day, I found it won't be the same.
Oh...
Her eyes, so fiery, so like her spirit. Her eyes were angry, and calm, joyous, and sad, free, yet trapped. Her eyes, that always begged for help, even if she didn't. He hadn't listened.
I didn't get around to kiss you,
Good-bye on the hand,
I wish I could, see, you again,
I know that I can't,
Oh...
She offered him jewel shards, if he would kill Naraku. He had thought it weak of her, and refused. Would she be alive if he had accepted? She had always helped him though, no matter what. Why?
I hope you can hear me,
'Cause I remember it clearly,
the day, you, slipped away,
was the day, I found it won't be the same.
Oh...
She had hated Naraku, her master, the one who held her chain. She hated him with all her soul. It showed in her eyes, her smile, and her voice. He could smell the hate on her. But something else too...
I've had my wake-up,
Won't you wake up? I keep asking why,
It wasn't fake, you won't wake up,
It happened, you passed by.
She had smelled strange that day. Like the wind should smell, without chains. She was perfect, her hair up, her eyes bright...except for the blood that soaked through her kimono.
Now you're gone, now you're gone,
There you go there you go,
Somewhere, I can't bring you back,
She knew Tensaiga couldn't save her. Nor did she mind. She had smiled at him through the pain, to tell him that she was happy he was with her in the end. That smile still haunted him.
Now you're gone, now you're gone,
There you go, there you go,
Somewhere you're not coming back,
Oh...
He steps back, turning away from her grave. He knows what it says, he's traced the letters with his fingertips, whispered them to himself, as though it might bring her back.
Na na, na na na, na na,
"Kagura, child of the wind. She was the enemy of Naraku, friend to Kohaku, and..."
I miss you...
"Beloved of Sesshomaru. "
