AN: This is for all girls out there, and a warning to all boys. Don't do what Alec does.

Stupid Idiotic Boys
Cindy and Max were both in Max's room when Alec came into the apartment. The cocoa skinned girl was curled up tightly, her best friends arms wrapped around her loosely, rubbing her back.
Alec forcefully pushed the thoughts of the two of them in bed together out of his head and tried to feel concerned. "What's wrong with her?" his voice had not quite conveyed his worry, but more of a mild curiosity.
Max glared at him, "What's it look like? She's in pain." she stood and went to get some things from Cindy's room, and the kitchen.
"What kind of pain?"
"The kind that you don't know about." Cindy growled out.
Realization dawned on his face as he remembered his biology class from Manticore. So it was her... time of the month. "Oh come on. Just take a few aspirin and deal with it."
OC tried to give him the benefit of the doubt, because he wasn't a girl and didn't know the extent of her suffering. It wasn't like he was trying to push her buttons. "This can't be helped by just a few aspirin, Hot Boy."
"Sure it can, I use it all the time. I get hurt way worse than you, hell, I use it when I get shot. It takes care of pain pretty dang good."
"Not this kind."
Alec sighed, "Well, I mean like real pain."
OC sent him a look that, even coming from an Ordinary, sent chills down his spine. Screw benefit. This boy was digging himself a hole that was almost eight feet deep already. "You tryin' to tell me this pain ain't real? Boy you better backtrack fast before I give you some "real pain"." Her normally gentle voice was cold, and harsh, and Alec was actually scared.
"Um... I'm just... I mean..."
"Go." Max said firmly from the doorway. She brought in the ice cream, blankets, and pillows.
Alec didn't have to be told twice. With a quickly stuttered apology, and a feel better, he blurred out of the building.
"Stupid, idiotic boys."
