I've left Deirdre, and now I'm wandered along the canal. On my way to confess my true feelings to Martha, because truth be told she is the only woman I have ever really loved, I did love Deirdre but never like I love Martha. Well, here I am. Standing outside her barge. I try to decide whether I'm doing the right thing, but truly I think it's the best thing I've ever done. She is my true love, my soulmate, my one in a billion and she is the woman I thought only to be made of my dreams. I love her, Ilove her knowledge of literature, and her passion for life. Oh shit, the curtain just moved..it means she knows Im here. What shall I do? Shall I leave? No, cause if I do that she'll think I don't love her, which is daft cause she is the love of my life, the sun in my sky, the stars in my night, and the light of my life.
"Ken? Ken? Are You Ok?", Martha now stood infront of me, smiling slightly. I looked up and looked at her like it was the first time I saw her, and she seemed like an angel of the night.
"Im fine", I said smiling back "In fact, I'm more than fine, Im great. Do you know why?"
She shook her head"No"
I lent forward, stopping a breathe away from her lips, and whispered, "Because I'm in love with you", and before I could close trhe distance between our lips, I felt her lips crash against mine, in a passionate and loving kiss. I kissed her back, putting into it all the emotions I could possibly show her in that kiss, and then and only then did I realise that my life was truly worth it, my life was truly going to be just fine.
