Nightmare ^.^

Sam-being one to come over to Carly's, loved to have sleepovers. They would play around and have pillow fights and do all of that classic stuff. But when she heard that Freddie was going to come, she immediately stopped in her tracks as her heart sank to the ground.

"So, can you come or not, Sam?" Carly asked eagerly.

"I-I guess."

"Thank you so much! I'll see you tonight!"

Sam sighed and looked around her room for her pillow. This was gonna be a long night.

Around eight, Sam showed up on Carly's doorstep. Carly hugged her, and told her to come in. They had a pillow fight, and Sam made some popcorn- and ruined the healthy aspect of it with a cup of melted butter. Right before they started to watch a movie, they decided to paint nails. Freddie still hadn't arrived yet, and Sam was getting a little too hopeful.

"Hey," she said, looking around.

"Is Freddie still coming?"

"Hmm," Carly thought.

"I don't know. I'll call him right now."

Sam slapped a hand to her forehead and muttered to herself, "What did I do?"

Freddie came over and apologized for being late. He said he'd forgotten. Freddie sat on the floor beside Sam as she picked through the bowl of popcorn in her lap.

Carly had a piece of paper in hand trying to make her toenails dry.

Freddie looked at her.

"Do you want your nails done?" he asked her.

"Hmm? Me?" she asked.

"Yes. I can do it for you if you want."

"Okay. I want that color. The dark blue."

Freddie smiled at her and started to paint her toenails blue.

She laughed. "It tickles!" she shrieked.

Later on that night, it was close to midnight and Sam was slowly drifting off to sleep during the movie. They were watching Twilight and New Moon and Carly was enjoying it, but not so much Sam. Soon, Sam was fast asleep and was breathing peacefully. Carly didn't notice when Sam started to shiver, but Freddie did. And Carly didn't notice when she started to cry in her sleep, but Freddie did.

He shook Sam awake and she immediately hugged herself to Freddie.

"Hey, what's the matter?"

She cried.

"Did you have a nightmare?" he asked her, stroking the back of her hair.

She nodded silently, before drifting back to sleep in Freddie's lap.
