A Christmas Surprise

A/N: This takes place after season one of Legends of Tomorrow, after season four of Arrow, and after season two of the Flash. I am not sure where this came from. It sort of just happened. I'm very tentative about this story, so please give me feedback.

The Queen mansion was filled with the sound of music, laughter, and warmth. A large Christmas tree stood majestically in the center of the room covered in festive ornaments and candy-canes.

"So," Barry Allan said walking over to Oliver Queen. "What made you finally decide to have your annual Christmas party after all?"

Oliver smiled warmly and looked across the room. Diggle was holding his baby girl next to the tree. His wife stood nearby with a watchful eye. Diggle's daughter's wide eyes looked wondrously at the shiny ornaments. She reached out a tentative hand and poked one and immediately jerked back when the ornament swung in her direction, causing Diggle's wife to laugh. Oliver gazed across the room and saw Felicity and Ray nerding out over something that caused Felicity to smile. A flash of movement caught Oliver's eye, and he watched as Lisa Snart pulled Cisco onto the dance floor. Cisco pretended to be reluctant, but he was obviously enjoying himself.

"I'm not sure," Oliver finally answered. "This just feels right."

"Yeah," Barry agreed thoughtfully. "It does."

Barry looked across the room and his gaze snagged on Iris. She saw him and smiled. Barry looked towards the punch table where Thea and Mick seemed to be exchanging tales that were becoming more elaborate by the second. He watched as Katelyn and Professor Stein walked over to the punch table to get refreshments without ceasing their deep conversation. Barry heard the sound of laughter and saw Jax and Wally laughing at something Joe and Captain Lance were saying.

"What's got you two in such a good mood?"

Oliver and Barry turned around. Sara approached them with a smile on her face and a drink in her hand. Oliver and Barry exchanged a look, but before they could reply, the doorbell rang.

"Are you expecting anyone else?" Barry asked quizzically.

"No," Oliver said thoughtfully. "It's probably just a package."

"I'll get it," Sara offered and sauntered to the door before Oliver could object.

Sara opened the door. Her eyes widened with surprise, and she dropped her champagne glass, which shattered on the floor.

"Leonard?"

"Merry Christmas," he replied with a wry smile.
