"Tomato Dreams"
Demon Lord Raenef the Fifth woke suddenly. Quiet starlight filled his room, offset by his frantic breathing. He sat up slowly. Walked to the doorway and looked out at the endless hallway.
((Eclipse's bedroom))
"Go!"
Now he was stood next to Eclipse's bed. The room was decorated in black and jewel-toned purple and red swathes of silky fabric. Small, dark, and quiet. Skylights set in the ceiling illuminated the sleeping figure on the bed.
(He's beautiful. Now he's gonna kill me...what am I doing here!)
Remembered horror filled his mind.
(Oh yeah)
"Eclipse!" Whispered softly. "Eclipse!" Shake his shoulder gently. "Eclipse!" Now harder. "Eclipse!" "ECLI...pse." Body shifts, and one narrow eye opens, closes. Opens wide.
Eclipse, Demon of the Third Order, opens both eyes and sits up. Expression of annoyance.
"What are you doing here?"
"Had a nightmare." Shuffles closer.
Expression of bewilderment.
"How did you even get in here?"
"Eclipse's bedroom, go?"
Eclipse relaxes.
"You are the Demon Lord. The house would listen to you." Muses. Runs hand through unbound hair. "I'd locked this room."
"I'm sorry! Here, I'll go back!" Starts to think.
"No, Lord Raenef, it's all right. What was your nightmare about?"
(Horror)
Raenef jumps into Eclipse. Holds tight.
"It was horrible! Can I sleep here tonight?"
Hopeful eyes upturned in supplication.
(Wow, he's actually really scared. Poor little master)
"If you want to, my Lord." Smiles and embraces relaxing Raenef. "It wasn't about a tomato, was it?"
"..."
Eclipse raises an eyebrow. Sighs, fluffs a pillow and motions for Raenef. Lays back down. Raenef follows suit.
"Goodnight, my Lord."
"G'night, Eclipse!" Giggle.
Eclipse sleeps. Raenef scoots close and smiles happily when one of Eclipse's arms comes to rest around him.
(No giant tomatoes are going to hurt you as long as I'm here, Eclipse!)
Raenef sleeps.
