Something Like PMS
By: Demonic Psycho
Demonic Psycho: First off, this revolves around the similarities between being werewolf and being a woman. Second, Remus is not a pervert. He is merely a curious six-year-old whose mother let slip the word "PMS."
Disclaimer: Guess the obvious, will you?
"Mum, I'm scared," the six-year-old whimpered. His mother had bitten him when she had been in her wolf form. "What is being a werewolf like?"
"You can't control your emotions or your actions, sweetie, the lupine instincts just take over..." She shivered. "It's something like PMS."
He straightened up. Mrs. Lupin straightened her son's straitjacket. He was only six, so he'd be fine with a straitjacket for now. She was shackled to the walls and in a cage. Well, he was also in the cage, but more for company than a safety precaution.
"What's PMS?" Remus asked, curious about this strange "PMS" his mother had mentioned.
"Er, it's when a woman gets mad and angry for no reason. The same thing happens to a werewolf. Both happen once a month."
"Oh," was all he said before he went back to fretting. "Does PMS hurt?"
"A little bit, but being a werewolf hur –" Mrs. Lupin stopped her sentence. "It doesn't hurt that much," she finished hastily.
"Are you PMS?"
"Am I PMSing, you mean?" He nodded. "Yes. Being a werewolf makes it worse."
"How does it ma –"
"Remus John Lupin, if you ask another question I'll bite your head off!"
Let's just say he didn't ask about PMS again.
