Jenna afraid of a storm
A thunderstorm is going on a severe one and knocked out the power making Jenna afraid in bed alone. She is afraid of a dark and stormy night because no power and a bad storm. They hope a tornado doesn't come out of the clouds there. No tornado warning but is a watch and Jenna is afraid. She knows storms can be scary and dark so she is scared now in fact. Arthur isn't afraid of it but D.W. and Kate are scared but Bud acts brave but he is also afraid of it. He is just a regular kid who is a friend of D.W. and we see Jenna and her parents now at her house.
"Mom and dad i am afraid of this dark and stormy night alone in bed," said Jenna, "I hope maybe i can be in your bed i have my alarm here on my nightgown."
"Only for a night and and by the door so you can use the bathroom," said her mom, "It is just for the night so you can sleep good."
"We are here for you and this storm your not alone in being scared," said her dad, "You will be safe with us during this storm here."
"I am sure D.W. is afraid even Bud and he acts brave but is just a kid," said Jenna, "He is a good looking little boy who looks better without his hat on."
"He has a full head of brown hair and his rabbit ears on his head," said her mom, "I gave him a bath once he has a hippo to play with."
Jenna got in bed with them and Bud is being calm because he got over his fear of storms but D.W. sure is scared of it. She got in bed with her parents and said for one night only. Arthur is sleeping good in his bed so he isn't afraid at all. Bud does have his hat off and barefoot in bed sleeping. He loves sleeping in bed with rapty his stuffed dinosaur he got when he was younger than he is now. So sense he was two years old and Jenna slept good that night until storm was over at midnight and went to her bed. We see the power is back on and at school.
"We did indeed have a severe thunderstorm last night i was sleeping though," said Arthur, "D.W. was afraid but not Kate so she wasn't afraid."
"I was scared during it it was dark and stormy but i slept with my parents," said Jenna, "I am glad it ended at midnight and got in my bed after using the bathroom."
"I slept through it like Arthur who is a nerd like me and some others here," said Brain, "Tornadoes are rare here but we do have sirens for them here."
"I heard one small one hit back in the day when our parents was our age," said Francine, "But w did get hit by a hurricane once called Sadie."
"I remember that day it hit i was afraid i was out in it once," said Fern, "I got wet and had a shower and put my nightgown on."
