Starlight dreamer

Twilight sparkle discovers a legendary pony that has the abilities to grant ponies dream to whomever has the hope stone but if it falls into the wrong hoofs or the pony that wants the wish is not pure of heart as it was before it can be disaterous as it was before...maybe that is the reason why some secrets should remain buried

Chapter 1

The hope stone

"Do not look for me young mare…do not find me…turn back…" a females voice is heard as twilight sparkle wakes up again gasping from her dream she had and sighed as she gets up and walks down the stairs to get a drink of water.

"That dream again…why do I keep having that dream…it must be linked to that tablet…." She said as she used her horn to light up the room and goes to her desk as she can see an ancient tablet "Ever since princess Celestia found this tablet and asked me to decipher it I have been having these dreams…like I'm not supposed to find whatever is hidden…but I can't help it! This is an important discovery to pony kind! I could become a famous explorer! Hmm…ok…let's try this again… 'Once in a few hundred years will the pony come to dry your tears…if your heart is true and your wishes pure…will you only have your wish…with only one hope that it will bring bliss'…well it must be talking about the pony of legend…I READ A BOOK ABOUT LEGENDARY PONIES!" she yelled with excitement as she used her magic to have a book float to her and went thru the pages "Ah! Here it is! The legend of Starlight dreamer! It says here that she was an alicorn that granted ponies wishes…but it only has one page…the others were torn…and since then I had no other clue to go with until this tablet…so she must exist! But…no one has seen her for thousands of years…I wonder what happened…" she said as she went back to the tablet and noticed the inscriptions caked by hardened sand "hmmm…I should soak this in water and hope I can get the sand off!" she said as she walked away with it and ran water in the sink.

After a half hour of washing and scrubbing she was finally able to clean everything off and she saw the inscription as her eyes widened "OH! I was right! She does exist! 'only with the stone of hope will she the alicorn show up and grant the wish you deeply need and can't cope' THE HOPE STONE! I REMEMBER DISCORD TELLING ME ABOUT THIS! OH! I HAVE TO TELL PRINCESS CELESTIA! SPIKE!" She yelled as she ran up the stairs as she let the tablet down and a small light came from the tablet flew up and into the sky as twilight sparkle ran to wake up her dragon companion unaware of the consequences of the actions she just unleashed.
