My name is chrismathguy and I am from the wonderful land of Illinoisia, located on the land between the big oceans. My family suggested I take a trip, and I arrived to the land of Runescape. My travels brought me to the village of Lumbridge.
I was hoping my vacation would've begun with a tour guide to show me around, as this world was very strange to me. It seemed that everyone was left to fend for themselves, so I started off on a search for someone to help me. My wanderings and exploration led me to the graveyard, and I ran into a woman named Xenia. She led me into the catacomb where I unknowingly begun a quest known as The Blood Pact. I met a cultist named Caitlin, who I conversed with and killed after taking her slingshot. Not knowing how to use it, I met an early demise in my quest when I was defeated by Kayle.
I then met a wonderful man, who said he was the Grim Reaper. Believing it was not my time, he sent me back to Lumbridge Castle and allowed me to begin my journey again. Oddly enough, he was the most helpful person I found in my early journeys.
Wanting to try something a little simpler, I met the Cook in the Castle, and he informed me that he needed an assistant. He was baking a cake and needed my help obtaining the ingredients. I told him about Wal-Mart, but he wanted some fresh, high quality ingredients. So, I begin my quest by taking a pail he had on the counter.
My first ingredient was the "super large egg." I found the chicken coop, and found several eggs. None of them seemed to be "super large", but I began picking them up. I figured that several eggs would make up a super large egg, but the math in Illinoisia does not work in Lumbridge. I finally found the sought-after egg after some searching of the coop.
Next, I figured milk would come from cows. I found the barnyard containing the cows, and searched for the perfect cow. I found him and a bucket nearby that I immediately filled with milk. That one seemed pretty easy.
The flour was a puzzle, though. I picked some wheat from the field, but needed to learn how to use the mill. Someone was there to help, but every step seemed like a puzzle. I felt I was being screwed with, but got the flour.
I brought all of the ingredients back to the Cook, and completed my quest. Mission accomplished. Now, I felt I needed to get my revenge on Kayle. I want back to the catacomb, and read my slingshot manual, and disposed of her and then used her spear to off Reese, and I completed my Blood Pact.
My early journeys in Lumbridge have been interesting, and will be sending a postcard to my lovely wife and kids back home.
