Level 1 Pairing: Draco/Hermione

Hermione glared at the blonde haired boy that sat down beside her. "I'm mad at you."

Draco chuckled even as he leaned over and kissed Hermione on the cheek. "I know that you are, love, but it was for your own good."

Hermione huffed. "How was telling Professor Snape that I'm pregnant for my own good, Draco Lucius Malfoy?!"

Draco threw his head back and laughed. It took him a minute to calm down before he finally answered his pissed off fiance. "It's for your own good because there are certain potions that you simply cannot brew while pregnant, Hermione Jean Granger soon to be Malfoy. You would feel bad if you brewed something and didn't know that it could cause harm to our son or daughter and you damn well know it! So why don't you use that brain of yours and think before getting all pissy at me for looking out for you and our baby, huh?"

Hermione's eyes widened in surprise. She knew then that even though Draco had laughed that he was upset with her. She sighed and ran a hand through her hair. She was pissed at herself now because she knew that everything Draco just told her was the honest truth and she would have known that if she hadn't just went and got pissy with him because of he did. She leaned her head on his shoulder as she grabbed one of his hands in her own. "I'm sorry, Draco. If I would have thought I would have known why you told Professor Snape. I don't know what is wrong with me other than my hormones seem to be out of whack already."

Draco sighed, turned his head, and captured Hermione's lips with his own. "You're forgiven, love, but, please start using your head. I don't want to see any harm come to you or our baby. I will do whatever I have to in order to protect you even if I have to protect you from yourself. I love you, Hermione."

Hermione smiled. "I love you too, Draco." She silently vowed to herself to try to think before she reacted like she normally would even if her hormones were all over the place."
