Author note: Hi guys,this is my first Fan fiction ever. This is just some ideas and thoughts that came to me while watching Episode of 'The Vampire Diaries and reading various novels'. I've taken characters and elements from 'VD' and applied them to my story. Please do not judge harshly! Thank you and I hope you enjoy!

Plot: Caroline never thought she would be in this situation, ever! Helping out a stranger is one thing but taking over her life that's another and within hours she found herself engaged to a king! But the Charade had to end soon however the electrifying chemistry between them couldn't be denied. What will become of the Impostor Princess and the king?

Chapter one – Unbelievable
"Unbelievable, you do look like me." Princess Amelia was circling Caroline like a vulture that just found a meal. "Same age, same height, same face. In a normal society we could pass for twin sisters except for the different hair color"
"We could be doppelgangers, Your Highness" Caroline laughed "Beside the fact that you are royalty and I am not!"
Princess Amelia was frozen like a statue just staring from top to bottom at Caroline. Caroline shifted feeling uncomfortable being sized up like a piece of meat. "Are you alright Princess?"
"Yes, Yes l am. I've never felt better in my whole life" stated Amelia "I have a proper situation for you Caroline, My friend you know the one that introduce us said that you were strapped for cash and currently unemployed, yes?"
Caroline hesitated. "Well yes, but l don't see the relevance in your question Princess? What has me having no money or job have to do with you?"
Amelia's lips curved into a smile. "I thought maybe for a day we could trade places?"
"What?" Caroline shouted.
Walking a few steps away Amelia stared off into the distant for a long while then softly she said " All my life I've been hounded by the paparazzi and put up on a pedestal by my parents and my people and not just that it's my bodyguards, my secretary and my ladies in waiting."
Closing her eyes and rolling her head back. "Just for one day I would like to be normal, not have to look over my shoulder and find that the paparazzi are following me"
"Your lucky, All l get is weird Al the town drunk following me" Caroline blurted out. "Sorry, you were saying?"
Amelia gave her head a shake "I've ruined everything!" Her voice so bleak.
"Ruined what? Princess? You can trust me. Tell me what is going on? Maybe l can help you with your problem?" stated Caroline
"I know l can trust you. That's why I'm asking for you help." Amelia took a deep breath. "Tomorrow, switch places with me for the day! Be me and stay in my hotel room and I'll be you. I won't be long, l promise. 7 hours at the most and then I'll return and we'll switch places again."
"What do you say?"
