It was two weeks after the day she turned 18
all dressed in white, going to the church that night
She had his box of letters in the passenger seat,
six pence in her shoe

and when the church doors opened up wide she put her veil down trying to hide the tears oh
she just couldn't believe it
she heard the trumpets from the military band and the flowers fell out of her hands
As she walked through the doors of the Great Hall, she remembered her wedding day. It was weeks before the battle and she knew Remus had to go, it was his duty. Harry came to her doorstep, looking beaten up but he informed me that the battle had ended and a funeral is being held for the brave soliders that fought. I asked him about Remus, I didn't get a full answer only a tear that slid down his cheek. I think Teddy knew what happened because across the hall, I heard him cry.

then they handed her a folded up flag and

Minvera began the funeral with wise words and prayers for those who left us. I gulped as Harry went next to talk after he said some comforting words, he handed me Remus ring, then proceed to hand more items to those who have died to the family. After that Ron shot out a red light that hit the sky and my world came crashing down. Tears erupted in the Hall.

I finally returned home with a sleeping Teddy. I tucked him in and went into Remus and my bedroom. There were pictures of us everywhere. I couldn't take it anymore with a loud scream and more tears running, I smashed every picture. I took deep breaths and went to see myself in the mirror. My hair turned the color brown just like his and his eyes were mine and my features represent him. This was as close as I got to him.
