My Little Pony: The 7th Element

(Chapter 3)

She flew down the dark narrow tower, her wings beating beautifully. She loved flying as much as she loved night and day. She landed softly on the bottom, her hooves touching the ground silently. She smoothed her light blue and pink mane before exiting the tower entrance.

Sunrise opened the heavy wooden door and slowly walked back into the magnificent hall. She paused to think of which way she should go. She had been to the castle many, many times, but she still didn't know every hall and room. After all, the castle was gigantic. Sunrise Sparkle decided to head down the main hallway that lead to the throne room.

She walked silently through the marble floored hall. She giggled as she passed a painting of a fancy pony posing in a white wig bigger than the pony itself. She was walking past a painting of a Pegasus when she came to a giant arched entranceway.

The room had a long, narrow red carpet that looked like a path leading through the center of the room. The white marble floor illuminated with a rainbow of colors because of many stained glass windows on the two walls on each side of the red carpet.

Sunrise Sparkle slowly walked into the room, staying on the red carpet. The windows showed tales of some ponies defeating, what looked like, evil creatures. There was one of a black alicorn with a blue sparkling mane being defeated by 6 other ponies, each wearing a jewel. She wondered if these windows depicted true tales, or if they were just made up.

In each picture the same ponies would be wearing the same jewels defeating an evil creature. She walked through the hall, looking at each window, wondering what these windows were supposed to mean.

She finally came to the end of the brightly lit hall. There was a glimmering gold door with the six jewels that the ponies had been wearing engraved into it. On the door was The Elements of Harmony. There was no handle on the door, so she guessed that the door was opened by magic. Sunrise Sparkle didn't care though, she had a feeling that she wasn't supposed to be there, and she would have left, but the room was just so amazing that she couldn't bring herself to leave.

"So, I see you have found the Room of the Elements." Sunrise quickly turned around. It was Princess Twilight Sparkle. "Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry! I… I… I didn't mean to, I'm sorry, I just….." and with that she ran out of the hall as quickly as she could, leaving the princess standing there.
